You can officially call it a cold streak after last night – Islanders lose in OT and the Flames/Canes scoring dropped off as the game went on. We need to turn this thing around tonight with some high percentage plays! Let’s see what we have on the menu.

Nuggets (+3.5) – At first glance, this one might catch your eye and make you wonder why the Nuggets are underdogs in this game. The reason is because they are on the road and they are just 4-6 in their last 10 road games. Another reason for this is the fact that the Jazz are 8-2 in their last 10 games. So why are we taking the Nuggets? I’ll take the +3.5 for a team who is 1 game behind the Warriors for 1st place in the West taking on the Jazz who are in 7th place even after their impressive run as of late. I also like the fact that when these two teams met up earlier this season the Nuggets won 103-88 in a blowout. I think the Nuggets two most recent games against bad teams is exactly what they needed to get back on track after a couple losses they took. I like the Nuggets getting points tonight.

Raptors (+6) – This one is easy, don’t fall for the bluff by the books to scare you away from taking the Raptors in this game. Back to back for the Raptors, so don’t take them right? Wrong – they have the best record on the second night of back to backs this season at 8-1. No Kawhi Leonard tonight, so don’t take them right? Wrong – the Raptors were without Kawhi the last time they played the Pacers (that game was also the second night of a back to back) and they won 121-105. The Pacers have won 11 of their last 15 games, so don’t take the Raptors right? Wrong – despite the recent hot streak for the Pacers, they have lost their last 4 games against top teams in the Eastern Conference and are just 3-7 against teams with a .600 or better winning percentage. Don’t take the moneyline on this one when we can get a 6 point buffer but I think the Raptors should be in position to win this game tonight.

Coyotes / Canadiens Under (6) – Loving the under in this one! The final score was 2-1 in the first meeting between these two teams this season. On top of that, the Coyotes have gone under 6 or pushed in their last 3 games while the Canadiens have gone under or pushed at 6 in 10 of their last 11 games. Look for a similar pace between these two teams tonight to the one they had in the first matchup. Under.
