Let’s start out with a moment of silence for Kobe Bryant and all of the people dealing with that tragedy. . . . . . . . . . . Very sad news of a legend who was taken from us too soon. . . . 2-2 yesterday felt like a brutal day after how hot we were all week but it’s all good. I can’t believe the pathetickness and lack of defense that was displayed in the Hawks and Wizards game. 285 total fucking points. 285!!!! What the fuck. Clippers and Michigan State came through for us. We are officially start Super Bowl week tonight so we need to keep the hot streak going to build up our bankrolls for this Sunday! Let’s see what we have for tonight.
NBA: 7:30 EST Heat (-5.5) - The Heat will host the Magic tonight who have lost 4 out of their last 5 games and they are also on the second night of a back to back. All 4 of the Magic’s recent losses have come by 6 points or more. A nice trend in this one is that the Heat are 20-2 at home this season. The Magic are 1-5 on the second night of back to backs so the Heat have multiple things going in their favor on top of being the better team in tonight’s matchup. I like the Heat to cover the -5.5 for us!
NHL: 7:00 EST Capitals (-125) - The All-Star Break is over and NHL action is back tonight. Alexander Ovechkin will be out tonight with a suspension but I’m still liking the Caps against the Canadiens tonight. The Caps are 20 points ahead of the Canadiens in the standings right now. The Capitals have been good on the road this season coming in to tonight with an 18-6-1 record on the road. The Canadiens actually have a losing record at home this season, 10-12-4. They are just one of three teams in the whole league that have a losing record at home this season which seems odd. I’ll take the first place Caps to pick up right where they left off and get the win for us tonight at a good price.
