Just when we needed an undefeated night, we get it! 2-0 for plus 2 units with two plays that most bettors wouldn’t bother taking because they would rather take the spread for better odds. Well for those bettors who took the spreads last night, they went 0-2. We take the safe route and we go 2-0 for +2 units. Ready for some more high percentage plays tonight? I am, need to build up the bankroll for the biggest betting weekend of the year. LFG.
Lightning (-115) – The Penguins really struggled going into the All-Star break by losing 4 of their last 5 and they very easily could have lost all 5 after getting one win in overtime against the Coyotes. The main reason for their struggles was the fact that they were on a West Coast road trip which is always tough for an East Coast team. However, the second half of the season won’t be any easier for them when they open up tonight and host the best team in the NHL. The Lightning come in averaging an outstanding 4 goals per game and they make it tough on their opponents. I said it earlier this season and I’ll say it again, anytime you get the best team in the league on the moneyline below -150 you take that shit. This one is on NBCSN. Go Bolts!
Sabres / Stars Over (5.5) – The Sabres have gone over 5.5 in 7 straight games and 8 of their last 10. They will be on a back to back tonight so that should help the Stars put up some goals themselves. I always love the over unders set at 5.5. The Stars went over 5.5 in their most recent game against the Jets but that was 11 days ago. Plenty of rest for them and they open up the second half of the season at home tonight. The Stars scored more goals in their most recent game (4) than they did in their whole four game losing streak prior to that (3) so this team will look to pick up where they left off. As for the Sabres, there have been 40 total goals scored in their last 5 games so an average of 8 per game. I like this game to go over tonight, especially at 5.5.
Heat ML / Celtics ML / Washington University ML (+102) – Hey look another high percentage basketball parlay that have been treating us good lately. Let’s take a look. The Heat start us off tonight hosting the Chicago Bulls who they just beat 117-103 11 days ago and that game was in Chicago on the second night of a back to back, no big deal. The Heat are 2-0 against the Bulls this season and they shouldn’t lose tonight. Bulls are 1-9 in their last 10, lol. Next up we have the Celtics who have won 4 of their last 5 and the one loss came against the best team on the planet, Warriors – that was only a 4 point loss. Rumors swirling how Kyrie wants to re-unite with LeBron and he has been in and out with different “injuries” – don’t be shocked when the Celtics swing a 3 team deal to send Kyrie to L.A. and land Anthony Davis. But for now, the Celtics sho
