Friday the 13th is bad luck!? PLEASE! 4-0 for a profit over 5 units! LFGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

NBA: 7:00 EST Parlay: Lakers ML / Clippers ML (+101) - The ol LA Parlay tonight. Playing the moneylines gives +101 odds compared to the teaser which would pay -110 so we are taking the value with this one. LeBron will be going back to Miami tonight to take on the Heat. The 22-3 Lakers continue to impress and they are now 12-1 on the road this season. They have been looking good on both the offensive and defensive end scoring 113.8 ppg and allowing 103.9 ppg. The Heat have been good lately going 12-3 over their last 15 but if you look through their schedule at the “good” opponents, you see a 112-93 loss to the Celtics, 117-108 loss to the Rockets, 113-86 loss to the Sixers, and of course - a 95-90 loss to this same lakers team from Nov 8. I like the Lakers to overmatch the Heat again tonight. Here’s a stat for you - the Lakers won the first matchup by 15 points even though they had 18 turnovers (5 more than the Heat). Then we have the Clippers on the road taking on the T-Wolves who have lost 6 in a row and 8 of their last 10. Defense has not been a thing for the T-Wolves as of late and they have allowed an average of 133.2 ppg over their last 4 games. Good luck to them trying to slow down the Clippers who have put up 115 a game this season. Let’s go L.A.

Parlay: 7:00 EST Lakers ML / Clippers ML / Bucks ML / Rockets ML (+237) - Double dipping on the Lakers and Clippers but I’m fine with that for the chance at a +237 payout. You can see the breakdown for each of them above. The Bucks will be going for their 17th straight win tonight and they are 8.5 point favorites against a Grizzlies team that has lost 7 of their last 10. Bucks should win this game. To close it out, we have the Rockets who we can all agree have been shaky against teams that they should be winning comfortable against but here we are. They have too much firepower for the Magic to keep up with, Rockets are averaging 120 points per game and the Magic have only scored 120 in 3 of their 24 games this season. The Magic also have a losing record against Western Conference teams this season. Give me the Rockets and Harden to win this game.

*The double dip is when you have two separate bets relying on the same team(s). If the Lakers or Clippers lose then we automatically go 0-2. BUT if they both win, we are looking at 2-0 with +3.38 units. With how this week has gone, I’m willing to take that risk. I’m just calling it out so everyone understands. If you only want to play one that’s more likely to hit I’d play the Lakers/Clippers one.*

9:30 EST 1st Quarter Line Clippers (-1.5) - The T-Wolves have gone 7 straight games where they were trailing by 1 hoop or more at the end of the 1st quarter and they were down 39-31 to the other team from L.A. at the end of the first last Sunday. The Clippers have been getting out to fast starts since Kawhi and PG were on the floor together. The Clippers have been ahead at the end of the first quarter in 9 of the 10 games since Kawhi and PG were both healthy with the average lead being 6.2 points. I really don’t see how a struggling T-Wolves team who hasn’t been playing any defense allowing 133.2 ppg over their last 4 to come out and slow down the Clippers. Clippers should be winning this game by 2 or more points at the end of the first quarter tonight.

NHL: 9:00 EST Avalanche (-1.5) - The Avs have won 7 of their last 8 games and 6 of those wins came by 2 goals or more. The Devils have been rotting in hell as they have been losers in 6 games in a row with 4 of those Ls coming by 2 goals or more. Check this out, Devils road losses this season - 7-2, 4-0, 3-0, 5-2, 4-0, 4-1, 7-1, 6-4, & 2-0. All of the Devils road losses have been by 2 goals or more and an average of 3.5 goals per game. I like the Avalanche to cover the puck line tonight.
