1-2 but if you smashed the hammer at -105 odds you had a profitable night. Let’s see what we have for Friday night.
Red Wings / Islanders Under (5.5) - Both of these teams have been struggling to score lately and this one is lining up to be a low scoring game. The Islanders have scored 1 goal or less in 4 straight games while the Red Wings have scored 2 or less goals in 4 of their last 5 games. It is worth noting that the Islanders scores 8 goals the last time they played the Red Wings but I’m relying on the recent struggles to continue tonight and I’m going with the under.
Mavericks (-4.5) - The Mavs will be on the road taking on the Magic tonight. Nice stat about the Magic is that they have lost their last 6 games against teams with winning records by 10 points or more. The Mavs have more fire power than the Magic can handle and they have averaged 13 more points per game this season. I like the Mavs to cover the -4.5 for us.
Pacers ML / Celtics ML (-108) - JACKHAMMER - The Pacers finished the first half of the season on a high note with a win over the first place Bucks. They will open up the second half of the season against the 17-38 Knicks tonight. The Knicks beat the Pacers a few weeks back but Marcus Morris Sr had 28 points in that game and he is no longer on the Knicks. I expect the Pacers to come out strong and get the win for us. Then we have the Celtics who closed out the first half of the season with a thrilling double overtime win over the Clippers and won 8 of their final 10 games. They will take on the Timberwolves who have lost 4 out of their last 5 games. The TWolves haven’t played much defense during that stretch and have allowed 110+ points in each of their last 5 games. Minnesota will also be without Karl-Anthony Towns tonight. I don’t see the Cs dropping this one tonight.
Nuggets / Thunder Over (215.5) - Loving the over trends for this one tonight. 7 of the last 10 combined games have gone over 215.5 for these teams. Both squads are averaging 110 points per game on offense so that puts us up around 220. They have both been hot winning 7 of their last 10 and I expect this one to be high scoring on ESPN on a Friday night.
