Celtics (+2.5)

Thunder (-2)

Caps/Bhawks Over 5

Blue Jackets

I’m taking the time to post the football picks ahead of time because I’m heading to Gillette by noon tomorrow for an 8:15 start LOL. I will post NHL and NBA picks separately but I wanted to get my breakdowns posted early. Giants let us down last weekend big time.

Sea @ ATL: (-4) O/U 52

I’m liking Seattle in this game. To win outright not even taking the points. 52% of the cash is on the Falcons to cover as of Friday at 3:40 EST. I think the Seahawks go into Atlanta and take this game because they have been in this position before and Atlanta has not. Matt Ryan is a good quarterback but what’s his post season record look like? 1 win and 4 losses with 9 touchdowns and 7 interceptions…pretty good….NOT. I can also assure you that this defense will be the best defense that Matty Ice has faced in the playoffs so expect more of the same. The Seahawks took the meeting between these two teams on Oct 16 26-24. I think the Seahawks are a different team now than they were back then and I think they find a way to win this one straight up.

HOU @ NE (-16) O/U 45

27-0 (win even with 3rd string QB)

You can guess which team has been doing the winning. That’s good enough for me already and then you add in the fact that TB12 is on his revenge tour. HOUSTON! We have a problem. Go Pats!

GB @ Dal (-4.5) O/U 53

Fix fix fix? Can you say fix? I’ve had a feeling all week long that this one is going to be fixed. The line just doesn’t seem right. I get it that Dallas has been a great team all year and they are home. BUT you’re telling me that they are supposed to cover -4.5 against a HOT Aaron Rodgers and the Packers? No chance. Seems WAY too good to be true if you are betting on the Packers. Vegas got worked last week and this is the game that they are going to make up for the beating they took last week. Cowboys not only WIN but will find a way to cover in this one.

Pit @ KC (-1) O/U 44

Oh boy…….this is going to be the game of the weekend for sure and it’s got the makings of a classic playoff battle. The Steelers took this match up with ease in the first meeting of the season where they won 43-14. Big Ben had 5 touchdown passes and obviously if he has his way again, this one won’t even be a match up. The Chiefs will look to slow the game down and I think that they will be able to do that. There is my first part of this teaser….Under 50. Do I think that the Chiefs have what it takes to win this game straight up? Yes. Am I extremely confident about it? No. What is the second part of the teaser? Steelers +8. I think it’s safe to tease either the Steelers or the Chiefs, or both in this one. 52% of the action is on the Steelers to cover in this one. I think it’s safe to play the teaser but don’t count the Chiefs out on winning this thing.

Straight Up parlay:

Sat: Seahawks/Pats – (+185)

Sun: Cowboys/Chiefs (+180)

All weekend: Seahawks/Pats/Cowboys/Chiefs (+699)

Prop bets to be tweeted tomorrow while tailgating.
