4/2
Happy Opening Day boys! Baseball is definitely the most profitable sport to bet on so I’m fucking pumped that we are getting started up today with a nice lineup of three games. I’ll be periscoping a video with future bets & team win over unders in about an hour.
MLB:
Yankees – I like the Yanks to start the season out with a win on the road at the Trop. It’s basically their second home because they’ve been training in Tampa all Spring. The Rays lineup has a .206 lifetime average against Tanaka in just under 100 at bats. The Yanks starting lineup will be stepping to the plate with confidence because they have a .287 lifetime average and .455 slugging % against Chris Archer in 143 at bats. I like the Yankees at (-115) on the moneyline to get your MLB season started off on the right track.
Giants – Second game of the triple header will give us a chance to make money on one of the best lefties in the game, Madison Bumgarner. The D-Backs have seen a lot of him due to the inner division match up. They have been average with a .242 average in 186 at bats. They strike out 25% of the time against Bumgarner. The Giants lineup will take on Zack Grienke who really had a set back year last season after signing that major contract with the D-Backs. His win loss ratio was still good at 13-7 but his ERA jumped from 1.66 to 4.37 from 2015 to 2016. We see this a lot, sometimes when players sign big deals they just aren’t ever the same again. The Giants are hitting just under .270 against him in 224 at bats lifetime. I like the Giants lineup to get Bum enough runs to win this one, even if it’s only 1 or 2.
Cubs – to finish your night off in prime time, you got the defending World Series Champs taking on the Cardinals. This one will be a great pitching matchup between Lester and Carlos Martinez. I like a no runs in the first prop bet on this game. I also like Lester to get the better end of the heavy weight pitching battle. The Cardinals have a .203 avg against Lester in 143 at bats. The Cubs are hitting .252 against Martinez in 135 at bats lifetime. If you are playing daily fantasy, Rizzo has hit 3 bombs off of Martinez lifetime.
So there you have it, Opening Day is here and these are the three teams I like to get our season off to a hot start. I will be posting tomorrow’s picks later tonight because I will be up early tomorrow on my way to Fenway!
NHL:
Penguins
Sharks
NBA:
No lines posted yet so I’ll edit my post later on today if there are any lines up that I really like.
