It's officially a cold streak. All it takes is a few days where things don't go your way with teams gagging late and chasing a few underdogs that the numbers looked good but the dogs didn't want to play. Good news though, there's a couple guys going today that will snap the cold streak.
MLB:
Nationals (Scherzer) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 - in a huge sample size of 205 at bats, Scherzer has held the Marlins lineup to a .259 avg. 48 strikeouts in 205 at bats looks nice (almost 1/4 of the at bats they K. The Nats lineup has never faced O'Grady but they should be able to get Scherzer the run support he needs when he throws a no hitter tonight. *Strong play*
Red Sox (Sale) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 - Fister pitched great last night and did enough to get in the Indians heads. You score 2 runs off Doug Fister and then you get to come back the next night and take on Chris Sale! Woohoo! Wouldn't wanna be ya. Sale has held the Tribe to a .249 avg in 193 at bats. 47 Ks. The Sox are hitting .265 with a .571 slg% in 49 at bats against Carrasco. Moreland has gone deep twice in 10 at bats and Hanley has gone deep once in 3 at bats against him. *Strong Play*
Parlay Scherzer & Sale.
Yankees (Sabathia) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - Sabathia has held the Tigers to a .242 avg in 149 at bats. The Yanks lineup doesn't have great history against Sanchez but the big bats for the Yanks have never faced him. All rise!
Dodgers (Maeda) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - no real history on either side of this matchup but I like Dodgers to take it to the Braves tonight.
🏒🏒 - rubbing sticks together to build a fire.
