We got burnt late in two games last night! Cleveland was in a battle with Tampa but check the replay if you didn’t already see Corey Dickersons homerun in the 8th – ball should have been caught. Then of course we had Trout with the 3 run double in the 9th to propel the Angels to a win. Dodgers hit though so 1-2 last night. I would play those same games as heavy as I did yesterday if they were playing again today with the same matchup. The numbers looked great, it just didn’t work out for us!

Dodgers (-1.5) (Hill) – 5x baseballs) Hop on this one quick because the odds will probably drop to like -200 for the -1.5 by game time. The Dodgers lineup has a .377 avg and .545 slg% against Richard in 77 at bats. Rich Hill has held the Padres to a .161 avg in 31 at bats with 12 strikeouts.

Red Sox (+1.5) (ERod) – 4x baseballs) I honestly don’t think that I’ve ever advised to play a reverse run line of +1.5. I think it really makes sense tonight given the way the Red Sox have been playing and the matchup that they have tonight with the Yanks. ERod has allowed the Yanks to hit a respectable .287 in 80 at bats against him. The Sox lineup hasn’t seen much of Jaime Garcia but in the 19 at bats against him, they are hitting .368 (Leon, Ramirez, Young, and Nunez are only guys who have faced him). So with those numbers I also lean on the over at 9.5. I just think it seems like money for the taking to take the Red Sox with a +1.5 spread.

Indians (Carrasco) 4x baseballs) – Going right back to the Tribe tonight after they lost late last night. Carrasco has phenomenal numbers against the Rays lineup and has held them to a .211 avg in 76 at bats with 25 strikeouts. *insert eye contact emoji here* (I’m on the laptop today). Jacob Faria gets the start for the Rays who has been pretty good at 5-2 with a 2.81 ERA. That’s pretty good but not as good as the numbers that Carrasco has posted against the Rays lineup in a good sample size. The 0/U is 8 right now, if it creeps up to 8.5 or 9 on any of your sites, I would be comfortable taking the under in this one.

Cardinals (Wainwright) 3x baseballs) – The Cards have a .462 avg in 26 at bats against Foltynewicz. I like the looks of that and I’m confident the Cards bats will get to him early and often tonight. Wainwright is going for the Cards and he has allowed the Braves to hit .291 against him in 110 at bats. Those are pretty solid numbers in a big sample size but let’s bank on the Cards getting all over Folty.
