So yesterday was a pretty good day. Missed on the Iowa moneyline play but they had a shot at the end so I’m not too pissed about that one. What we did hit was the 6-1 teaser which I had a good feeling about! Here’s to another successful day of football betting….*cracks beer @ 9:08 a.m.*
Titans (-2) 5x footballs – On the road in Houston against a team that hung around with the Pats until the last minute last week. I’m looking at the Titans as a pretty strong team right now. They had a rough loss to the Raiders in week one but they have bounced back with two pretty convincing wins. I know we aren’t so sure on Seattle yet but one thing is for certain that their D is pretty good. This Titans offense hung 33 on the Seahawks last week. With that in mind, I don’t think the Titans will have trouble scoring against this Houston defense (which I believe is better than the numbers show). I think this one could be high scoring and I am confident in the Titans offense to cover the -2 against the Texans today.
Jaguars (-3.5) 5x footballs – ALL ABOARD! This Jags team is going to make us some fucking money this season. They had a tough game in week 2 against the Titans but they have won two blowouts in week one and three against the Texans and Ravens (both respectable teams at this point). I know the Jags are on the road but they are playing the New York Jets. I know the Jags had a short week of practice due to the travel back from London BUT they are playing the New York Jets. I am SHOCKED that this spread is only -3.5. I’m expecting the Jags to go into New York and blow out the Jets today.
Bengals (-3) – Two 0-3 teams will meet up in Cleveland today and someone will get their first win. It will be the Bengals and they will cover the -3. Let me tell you why. I like this Bengals defense even though they are 0-3. Cleveland leads the league in turnovers and I think that this Bengals D will force multiple turnovers today. I don’t highly of this Browns defense and I think that today will be the day that Dalton and A.J. Green decide to lagalize the Green if you know what I mean. Cleveland is giving up 25 points per game and 233 passing yards a game. Look for Mr Dalton to have himself a day today.
Teasers (groups of two to three as always) In order of confidence:
Go ahead, put a teaser in with all of these for 6-1 odds.
QB: Eli Manning – the Bucs are second worst against the pass allowing 329 yards per game.
RB: Zeke – Rams allow 139 rushing yards per game to opponents this season
RB: Javorius Allen – this is a low salary RB filler
Wr: Odell Beckham Jr – pairing with Eli against the Bucs horrid pass defense
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Cooper Kupp
TE: Rob Gronkowski – Gronk spikes for everyone
K: Randy Bullock
D: Cinci – like I said – expect them to force turnovers against the league leading Browns.
