11/5

Good morning from a chilly Massachusetts morning on the BYE week Sunday for the Patriots. This is the one Sunday of the year that I like to take extra bets and put more down because my team isn’t playing. So with that said, let’s get to the fucking picks.

NFL:

Straight:

Eagles (-7) 5x footballs – I’m still riding this Eagles train because they have proven that they are for real week in and week out this season. Broncos and their defense have fallen off a cliff the last three weeks. Allowing 23 to the Giants with no name receivers, allowing 21 to the Chargers, and then last week allowing 29 to a good Chiefs offense. This Eagles offense will be the best offense that they have seen all year. I don’t think the Broncos offense will be able to keep up today. I like the Eagles to cover -7.

Chiefs ML (+120) 5x footballs – I mean I’m taking the Chiefs at plus money all season. They had their two games stretch that didn’t work out for us but the rest of the season, they have been pretty good to us. The Cowboys have been up and down all season and they have had two up weeks for sure with big wins over the 49ers and Redskins. Today will be a real test for the Cowboys. One thing to call out and watch for is this Chiefs defense has allowed opposing running backs to have pretty good games which will allow the Cowboys to control the time of possession. Kansas City is allowing 131 rushing yards a game which is 28th best or should I say worst in the NFL. I still think this Chiefs defense will play bend but don’t break defense and the offense will be able to score points against the Cowboys.

Raiders (-3) 4x footballs – The Raiders are better than 3-5….but I have to admit that they have some pretty bad losses. They did beat the Chiefs in a close game even though the refs had to give them like ten tries at the end (I’m exaggerating to get a rise out of you guys.) The Dolphins are coming off of the worst loss of the NFL season 40-0 against the Ravens. Granted it was a Thursday night game and apparently no one likes playing on Thursday Nights but it’s still a 40-0 loss. Let’s not forget that these same Dolphins were shutout by the SAINT
