1/1 New Years Day Late - College Football Playoff

NCAA Playoff:

Alabama (-3) I’m buying a point to get this one to (-2.5) 4x footballs – don’t get me wrong, this is going to be a great football game and it’s going to be close. These two teams will be squaring off for the third straight year in the college football playoff but the last two have been in the National Championship game. Tonight’s winner will move on to the National Championship. The last two matchups have finished 45-40 and 35-31. I think that tonight’s game will be lower scoring than that but we will see. I will not be playing the over under either way but I will be taking Bama with the half point at (-2.5). This will be an offense vs defense matchup and I think Bama’s defense will put them in position to win this game tonight. Both of these teams only have one loss on the season Bama lost to Auburn and Clemson lost to Syracuse. Bama had a chance to win that game against Auburn but had two snaps in a row that were sent right past Jalen Hurts. I truly believe if it wasn’t for those two bone head plays, Bama would have scored and came out on top in that game. But it doesn’t matter, here we are. Bama has had extra time off due to that loss against Auburn because they didn’t play in the SEC Championship game. I think that’s an advantage for them and they knew who they would be playing in the playoff if they got in. Nick Saban has this team PREPARED for this game and it will show. Roll. Damn. Tide.

Georgia (-3) 5x footballs – Georgia has one blemish on their schedule and it was a loss to Auburn but they came back and made up for that one with a 28-7 win in the SEC Championship game. Oklahoma has looked good all year but they have not seen a defense as good as Georgia’s this year. Look for the high powered offense of Oklahoma to struggle a little bit with the matchup against the Georgia defense. The Oklahoma defense is decent but they have given up some points this season. Georgia is not going to have a problem scoring points. The Oklahoma defense ranks 36th in the country against the run this year allowing 144 yards per game. Look for Nick Chubb and Sony Michel to run all over this Oklahoma defense. I expect Georgia to control the tempo of this game and that is bad news for any Sooner fans or anyone who plans to bet on the Sooners. 55% of the money is on Oklahoma and that is music to my fucking ears. Georgia is the better all around team and it will show tonight. Georgia is going to take it to Oklahoma tonight and we are going to get to see the matchup we were hoping for in the SEC Championship Georgia / Alabama.
