2-4 yesterday made for a pretty shitty day. Those matchups just didn’t go the way we expected. Lots of opportunity for a bounce back day today though!
NHL:
Bruins ML 🏒🏒🏒🏒 - the Bs are hot and they are starting a road trip tonight all the way out/up in Vancouver. The first thing we have going for us in this matchup is that the Bruins have been playing so hot. The second thing is that the Canucks have been struggling and are 1-4 in their last 5. I’ll take the Bruins on the moneyline even though it’s a little steep and will continue to drop as we get closer to puck drop tonight at 10 pm EST.
CAPITALS ML 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 - you want to talk about the CAPS!? This is a VALUE play with the moneyline currently at (-120). The CAPS will be taking on the Chicago Blackhawks who are on an 8 game losing streak and it’s got a serious chance of reaching double digits. It goes to 9 today when the CAPS take care of business for us.
MONEYLINE PARLAY:
Lightning/Golden Knights (+102) 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 - anytime I can get the best two teams in the league against struggling teams and it’s paying even money I’m taking it. I consider both of these moneylines too large to play individually but if you play them as a parlay you are getting some really good value.
NCAAB:
Texas Tech (-1) 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀 - Texas Tech has won 7 games in a row yet they are still focused on winning one game at a time to secure their birth to the big dance. Their coach was quoted saying it’s not a lock that they get in the tournament. I’ll tell you it’s a lock. I’ll also tell you that they are a lock against Baylor tonight. Baylor has won four straight and they are making a push but are currently ranked on the first four out. Texas Tech beat Baylor by 24 points in their first meeting this season although it was at Texas Tech AND Baylor played without Jo Lual-Acuil. With that said, I don’t think home court and having Lual-Acuil will make a 23 point difference and I like Texas Tech to cover the (-1) with ease tonight.
