VIP Picks 4/13

4-0 last night and our 2nd JACKHAMMER play carries over to tonight where we need the Penguins to dominate the Flyers again. That’s 10-3 over the last two days and we are ready for the fucking weekend!

MLB:

Red Sox (-1.5) (Rodriguez) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - for a lineup that got out to a slow start this season as far as run production, the Red Sox have scored 27 runs in the last three games against the Yankees. Tonight the Orioles come to town and Chris Tillman and his 8.68 ERA will take the mound. He’s essentially allowing an earned run every inning he pitches. I like the sound of that for this hot Sox lineup who has a career .314 avg in 86 at bats against Tillman. Don’t worry, those numbers are based on the projected lineup without Hanley and Bogaerts. Eduardo Rodriguez will be starting for the Sox and he has held the Orioles lineup to a .231 avg in 134 at bats. He had a short outting last Sat due to pitch count and it being his first start but he had 7 strikeouts in 3 innings. Look for the Sox to jump on Tillman early in this one.

Yankees (Montgomery) (-172) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - the Yanks will be looking to sweep this struggling Tigers team after losing 2 out of 3 in Boston. The Yanks lineup probably can’t wait for first pitch tonight because they have pounded Mike Fiers in the past - .340 avg .600 slg% in 50 at bats. Judge & Walker have gone deep against him. Yanks should come away with the win in this one.

A’s / Mariners OVER (8) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - the Mariners have gone over 8 in 7 out of their 10 games this season. The A’s have gone over in 8 of their 13 games. The over is 15 out of 23 for these teams combined (65%) this season. I can see you drooling a bit and rightfully so. I’ve got more for you though. The A’s have an incredible .396 avg & .571 slg% in 91 at bats against Mike Leake. I’m Leaking. The Mariners have a .333 avg in a smaller sample size (27 at bats) against Andrew Triggs.

NHL PLAYOFFS:

Flyers / Penguins OVER (6) 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 All 5 games between these two teams this season have gone over or pushed 6. 5-4, 5-1, 5-2, 5-4, and 7-0. To show the trends dating back to 2016, 8 of the last 10 games between these two teams have gone over or pushed at 6. The Flyers went over in 7 of their last 10 games of the regular season. The Penguins went over in 7 of their last 10 regular season games. I think the Flyers will make some adjustments that will lead to them scoring a few goals tonight. However, I’m still expecting the Penguins to dominate.

Penguins ML - JACKHAMMER 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 - I know this is a huge moneyline but it doesn’t matter when your throwing STACKS on it! The Penguins absolutely dominated the Flyers in game one, 7-0! They are now 5-0 against the Flyers this season and I don’t see the Flyers miraculously winning this game tonight. Both 5-4 games between these two teams this season were IN Philadelphia, they are in Pittsburgh tonight.
