Another winning day going 4-2-1 with a few games being cancelled due to weather. You know you’re on a heater when the only thing that can slow you down is snow across the country in mid April causing baseball games to be postponed. Let’s keep it going today!
Yankees (Severino) (-1.5) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - the Yanks have had two days off due to the weather so they are rested up and ready to roll when the Marlins come to town tonight. The Yanks haven’t got off to the start that they expected and this is a big week for them playing all games that they should win to get a little winning streak going. These two against the Marlins are must wins. No history between the hitters and starting pitchers. Severino is coming off a tough outting against the Red Sox but that’s a much better lineup than he will take on tonight. I like the Yanks to cover the (-1.5) tonight.
Mets (deGrom) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - deGrom got the win last game he started against this Nats team on 4/5. He allowed 1 earned run over 6 innings. That was proof that he owns this Nats lineup. He’s held them to a .199 avg in 151 at bats with 49 strikeouts. The Mets will take on Jeremy Hellickson who they have a .276 avg against in 145 at bats. They also have 8 homeruns against him. LETS GO METS!
Preds / Avs OVER (5.5) JACKHAMMER 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 - here we go again, a (5.5) O/U with trends screaming over at the top of their lungs. 5 out of the 6 games between these two teams this season have gone over (5.5). That’s 83%. The O/U was (5.5) in game two and there were 9 goals scored. Way over! We nailed it. 2 of the 6 games were played in Colorado this season and the scores of those two games were 4-3 & 4-2. Scores from the last 5 games between these two - 5-2, 4-3, 4-2, 5-2, & 5-4. I’m expecting another no stress over to hit with plenty of time remaining, similar to last nights Caps/Jackets O/U.
Avalanche ML 🏒🏒🏒 - the Avs are home underdogs at (+140) tonight. The Predators have won 6 out of 6 games against the Avs this season so you may call this a bold prediction. The Avs were competitive in game two and tonight they will have home ice. Some don’t view home ice as a huge advantage but let’s not forget that the Avs were 31-10 at home this season. The Avs come out with more energy than the Preds tonight who have a mindset of “just win one” in Colorado. Great value as home dogs at (+140) and the fact that it’s not higher makes me think Vegas/books have a feeling that there’s going to be an upset in Colorado tonight.
Bruins / Leafs OVER (5.5) 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 - as DJ Khaled would say, “anotha one.” He also produced All I Do is Win which is our sponsored theme song this past week, literally. Game one and two of this series went over (5.5) with Boston winning 5-1 & 7-3. It has been complete domination. It’s Patriots Day in Massachusetts today and in honor of Patriots Day, I think the Bruins dominate, score another touchdown on the Leafs, and cover this over themselves! This game is going over.
Bruins ML 🏒🏒🏒🏒 - Toronto is a tough place to play and the Bruins are 0-2 up there this season. Everyone and their brother is betting on the Leafs to win this game tonight for the sole reason that the Leafs are home and there can’t be any way the Bruins take one on the road and go up 3-0 on the series. Let’s not forget that the Leafs are still without their emotional leader Kadri due to his absolute cheap shot on Wingels. If you’ve watched any of game one and two, you’ve seen the dominance of the Bruins over the Leafs. As we talked about before game one of this series, this Bruins team is healthy, a much different team than the Leafs saw in the regular season matchups, and clearly too much for them to handle.
Sixers (-6.5) 🏀🏀🏀🏀 - The 76ers have been the leagues hottest team for the past couple months, riding a 17 game winning streak coming into game two. It has been a hell of a ride for this young team and we don’t see the streak stopping here. The Heat stumbled into the playoffs and recent reports have said several key players are upset with their playing time. 76ers will look to ride the 3 ball to another win and we see this as being a double digit victory.
