4/17 VIP Picks

4-3 last night but we hit the JACKHAMMER! I felt like a boy who lost his puppy when the Mets bullpen blew a 6-1 lead in the 8th inning. That’s what you call a bad beat. Still a winning day and that makes 6 in a row.

Indians / Twins UNDER (7.5) ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️ - Kluber and Odorizzi must start for this bet to have action.  Kluber has held this Twins lineup to a .189 avg in 196 at bats. Odorizzi has held the Indians lineup to a .225 avg in 71 at bats. Each pitcher also has 80 strikeouts combined against the opposing lineups. This game is being played at a neutral site in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.

Capitals / Blue Jackets OVER (5.5) 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 - this play has hit in game one and game two. It hit in game two with 8:47 left in the second period! I don’t see anything changing for game three tonight. Both of these teams create a lot of scoring chances and that leads to a lot of goals. 5 of 6 games between these two teams have gone over (5.5) this season. In those 6 games, the Caps are averaging 3.1 goals and the Jackets are averaging 3.5 goals. There’s no time like the present and the two most recent games between these two teams had 9 & 7 goals scored. You can’t afford to not take the over in this game!

Knights / Kings UNDER (5) 🏒🏒🏒🏒 - in the first three games of this series, the scores were 1-0, 2-1, & 3-2. That’s an average of 3 total goals per game. Another fun fact is it took 4 goals in the 3rd period in game three just to push the over under at 5. You can expect another low scoring Playoff battle between these two teams tonight.

2 team teaser:

Wizards (+11) / Pelicans (+10) 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀 - we played this same teaser on Saturday and the Wizards lost by 8 while the Pelicans won the game outright. I like it again tonight as both of these teams match up well with their opponents and they shouldn’t have any issues just hanging around tonight. That’s all we need them to do, just hang around and don’t lose by double digits.

Bucks / Celtics OVER (198) 🏀🏀🏀🏀 - 4 out of 5 games between these two teams have gone over (198) this season. Granted we had OT in game one but it would have gone over in regulation if Average Al Horford made a foul shot. I think the over trend continues tonight as long as the Celtics keep the up tempo pace. Look for this game to go OVER.
