5/20 VIP Picks

2-2 on sports for a shitty night thanks to the Celts for getting blown out. Who would have thought? Need a big day to close out the week today!

Braves (Teheran) (-185) - a little steep here but for good reason and worth the price. The Braves will take on Wei-Yin Chen who they have a .345 avg in 58 at bats against. Teheran will start for the Braves and he comes in 4-1 this season.

Mets (Syndergaard) (-190) - Thor has held the DBacks to a .200 avg in 45 at bats. Clay Buchholz will be making his first Major League start since April 11, 2017 when he allowed 6 earned runs in 2.1 innings pitched, against the Mets.

Nationals (Strasburg) (-145) - The Nats will take on Alex Wood who they swing the wood against. .377 avg & .519 slg% in 77 at bats! Pound town! Strasburg has always dominated the Dodgers and has held this lineup to a .190 avg in 126 at bats.

Rockies (Anderson) (-110) - The Rockies let us down yesterday but I think they bounce back today. They have a .327 avg & .582 slg% in 55 at bats against Ty Blach. Anderson starts for the Rockies and he’s 3-1 this season.

Braves / Mets - (+135)

Braves / Mets / Nats (+297)

Braves / Mets / Nats / Rockies (+658)

Rockets (+7.5) - The Warriors ran away with  Game 1 but the Rockets came back in Game 2. Getting +7.5 points for a team that is coming off of a 22 point victory seems like a no brainer to me. I don’t care if they have to deal with the Warriors crowd at Oracle Arena. I don’t care where they are playing, I think this will be a close game tonight. The action is currently split 50/50 so it’ll be something to keep an eye on as we get closer to tip. The Warriors have a record tying 15 game home win streak in the playoffs. They might set the record tonight but I don’t think it’ll be in blow out fashion.

Jets ML - The Knights have come out and won three straight games in this series which has been a little shocking. The Jets were starting to play really well at the right time before Vegas took over this series. They will be facing elimination this afternoon on their home ice. I think that they will come out with the urgency necessary to grab a win and send this series to Game 6 in Vegas.
