Well we go 2-3 yesterday and another legendary winning streak comes to an end but there will be another one very soon. I was getting a little nervous with the Warriors but what a second half they had. Caps were in position to take Game 1 on the road but they choked, I still like them to win the series. Today is a full day of baseball so let’s see what opportunities we have.

Cubs (Lester) (-115) - We have hit the Cubs two days in a row and they present another good value bet today. The Pirates have lost 8 of their last 10. Lester gets the start and he has held the Pirates to a .261 avg in 203 at bats. Nick Kingham has been recalled from Triple A to make the start for the Pirates tonight. No one in the Cubs lineup has ever faced Kingham but the Cubs have scored 15 runs in their last two games.

Rockies (Freeland) (-145) - The Rockies get to take on Samardzija tonight and he continues to be below average. The Rockies have good career numbers against him as well - .306 avg & .514 slg% in 216 at bats. Big sample size and thin air at Coors Field should lead to a Rockies victory in this one.

Braves (Sanchez) (-130) - The first place Braves will take on the 4th place Mets. I bet you no one could predict that being the scenario at the end of May before the season started. The Braves and their 4th ranked offense will take on Steven Matz tonight who they have a .302 avg against in 53 career at bats.

Phillies / Dodgers Under (7.5) - Arrieta and Maeda must start for action in this one. There are only 3 guys in the Dodgers lineup who have ever got a hit against Arrieta. He’s held this Dodgers lineup to a .078 avg in 51 at bats. Maeda has held this Phillies lineup to a .200 avg in 40 at bats. I like the under in this one and I also think there’s some value in the Phillies moneyline at +165.
