5/30 VIP Picks

5-0 last night or 4-0-1 for a few of you who didn’t get the Philly under bet in before it dropped to 7. Still a hell of a fucking night after a 2-3 day on Monday. I told you another unbelievable streak would start up soon and would you look at that. Let’s keep it rolling today! I’m not liking any early games but we have some good matchups later on.

MLB:

Braves (Teheran) (-154) - Yes, we are going with the Braves again today but we won’t need to rely on a late comeback like last night. Why? Let’s start with Teheran’s history against this Mets lineup. He’s held them to a .200 avg in 160 at bats. If that doesn’t have you sold, Jason Vargas is pitching for the Mets. His earned run average is up to 10.62 and the bottom line with this guy is that he fucking sucks (sorry Mets fans). This same Braves lineup scored 6 earned runs in 4.2 innings against Vargas on 5/3. Yes, we were on the Braves in that game, you can go back and look if you don’t remember. Similar result tonight!

Diamondbacks (Corbin) / Nationals (Scherzer) parlay (+118) - taking two huge favorites here and parlaying for better odds. Corbin comes in 5-1 with a 2.47 ERA. The DBacks will take on Sal Romano who hasn’t been good this season, especially lately. He’s given up 5, 7, & 6 runs in his last three starts. The Nats have won 7 out of their last 8 and are starting to play how we expected them to start the season. On top of them being so hot, Max Scherzer will start today and he’s 8-1 this season.

Angels (Ohtani) (-205) - Big moneyline here but I’m still playing it. Ohtani will be pitching and it’s the first time this Tigers lineup will see him, good luck! Ohtani comes in 4-1 with a 3.35 ERA which is inflated due to his tough putting allowing 3 runs in 2 innings to the Red Sox on 4/17. This guy is good and I like him tonight against this Tigers lineup. The Angels have 5 guys in their lineup that have hit a homerun in their career against Tigers starter Mike Fiers.

NHL:

Capitals / Golden Knights OVER (5.5) - GET OUT THE JACKHAMMER BOYS! After seeing the pace that these two teams played at in Game 1, I absolutely love the over at 5.5 and I think this will be bet up to 6 or 6.5 by the time the puck drops tonight. 6-4 was the final in Game 1 and that’s basically double what the over under was in Game 1 and what it is in Game 2. These teams combined for 62 shots on goal in Game 1 and I expect a similar pace in Game 2 because both teams want to play at a fast pace. 2 out of 3 games between these two teams this season have gone over 5.5. I LOVE the over tonight.
