6/13 VIP Picks

2-2 last night but we can chalk it up as a winning night thanks to the JACKHAMMER hitting on the Houston Astros. Quick turn around for us today with the first game of the day at 12:10 EST. Wake up and get your bets in! Let’s get to the picks:

Mets / Braves Under (7.5) - deGrom and Soroka must start for action in this one. We can start with the obvious here and say that Jacob deGrom has always dominated the Braves lineup and has held them to a .226 avg in 146 at bats. deGrom has pitched 18 innings against this Braves team this season and has only allowed 1 earned run. That is pretty fucking solid. Soroka has only made three Major League starts but one of them was against this Mets team and he held them to 1 earned run over 6 innings pitched. I think it’s a given that deGrom will dominate again today. Soroka could be the only question mark but then again, the Mets haven’t scored more than 3 runs in their last 8 games so I’m not too concerned. Under city.

Red Sox (-1.5) (Sale) - Sale has held this Orioles lineup to a .226 avg in 155 at bats. He also has a 33% strikeout rate against this lineup so he should put up some strikeouts today in Baltimore. The Red Sox will get to give Yefry Ramirez a Big League welcome today when he makes his Major League debut. I checked out his Triple A numbers and if Triple A teams were getting to him for his earned run average of 4.33, this Red Sox lineup should eat him alive. Give me the run line in this one. JACKHAMMER it.

Rockies / Phillies Over (8) - Both of these lineups have guys who have great numbers against the opposing starting pitchers tonight and I’m not sure how this over under is only set at 8. On August 5, 2017 - the Rockies got to Nick Pivetta for 8 runs in 2.1 innings pitched which was the worst start of his career. There are only four Phillies who have faced Tyler Anderson but they own a .375 avg in 24 at bats.

Cardinals (Weaver) (-210) - Huge moneyline again today and they burnt us last night at (-195). The Cards will take on our buddy Eric Lauer who we love to bet against and the Padres are 2-7 when he starts this season. The Cardinals lineup got to him pretty quickly last time they saw him on May 11. They scored 6 earned runs in 2.1 innings before the Padres gave Lauer the Yank. I’m expecting similar results tonight. The Cards will have Luke Weaver pitching and he has held the Padres lineup to a .200 avg in 25 at bats. I’m paying the juice on this one and taking the moneyline.
