3-1 last night but we hit our second JACKHAMMER in two days so that makes it feel even better! Red Sox cover, Mets / Braves go way under, and Phillies / Rockies go over. Cardinals lost and that’s two nights in a row that they lost as a huuuuuge moneyline favorite. They must be bumping that Yo Gotti....juice they got that juice. 3-1 is 3-1 and today we have 3 MLB plus 2 PGA round one matchups. If any of you are going to Monmouth or Borgata today please let me know. Sports betting will be legalized in another state on the East Coast. L F G.

MLB: Astros (Verlander) (-175) - my initial thought on this one was hold up. Let’s give A’s starter Frankie Montas some credit here, he’s 3-0 with a 1.25 ERA this year. However, he gave up 5 runs total in 2 innings pitched against this Astros lineup last year. Not a huge sample size but they were two separate outtings. And then of course on the other side is Justin Verlander who comes in 8-2 with a 1.45 ERA. He’s also held this A’s lineup to a .244 avg in 41 at bats. I’ll pay the juice on this one. Twins / Tigers Under (8.5) - Lynn and Fuller must start for action in this one. Lance Lynn started the season bad but that had a lot to do with him signing late in Spring Training and not being ready physically for the start of the season. He has been better lately and had only allowed more than 3 earned runs in one of his last 7 starts. That includes one start that was 6.2 scoreless innings against the Tigers lineup that he will face today. Fulmer hasn’t been as good lately as Lynn but he did have a nice outting against the Twins on May 23 when he pitched 5.2 innings and only allowed 1 earned run. 4 out of 5 games between the Twins and Tigers have gone under this season, I like the trends to continue today. Rays (Snell) (+140) - I know this one could make me look like an idiot pretty quickly but then again, that is the case anytime you bet against this Yankees lineup this season. I’m going by the numbers and they are telling me that this one is worth the risk. Snell has allowed 2 earned runs of less in 11 of his last 12 starts. Although I will caution he gave up 5 earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched against the Yanks earlier this season. Regardless, he comes in 8-3 with a 2.30 ERA, this guy is good. Domingo German will start for the Yanks and he comes in 0-4 with a 5.32 ERA. I’ll take my chances on this one but since the odds are +140, I’d bet a little less than your normal bet on this one. Keep in mind we ARE betting against the best team in baseball.
