2-1 in MLB, 0-1-1 in golf matchups but what a fucked up day it was at the U.S. Open yesterday. Obviously we didn’t take him but Rory Mcilroy finished +10, yeah it was that kind of day. MLB we went with the Rays as a big underdog and they had the lead early but that Yankees lineup got to us.
MLB:
Indians (-1.5) (Kluber) - Kluber comes in 10-2 with a 1.99 earned run average this season and he has really good numbers against this Twins lineup. He’s held them to a .148 avg in 128 at bats. He has already faced them one time this season and he held them to 1 earned run in 6.2 innings pitched in a 6-1 win. That sounds pretty good but he will need to get run support. I really don’t think that will be an issue today as the Indians lineup has a .374 avg & .596 slg% in 171 at bats against Kyle Gibson. The Indians are 3-1 in Kluber’s last 4 starts against the Twins and he gave up 0 earned runs in the game they lost. The scores of the three wins were 6-1, 7-1, & 8-4 (all covered the -1.5). Loving this matchup tonight. Run line -1.5 is a strong play but moneyline is a JACKHAMER.

Cubs (Lester) (-110) - “But Kof Michael Wacha is pitching for the Cardinals and he’s 8-1 with a 2.47 earned run average this season.” I don’t give a fuck when it comes to this matchup. The Cubs have a .313 avg & .614 slg% in 166 at bats against Wacha. This Cubs lineup had 16 earned runs in 22 innings against Wacha last season. You can count on 7-2 Lester showing up and he’s held this Cardinals lineup to a .240 avg in 175 at bats. Let’s not forget that this Cardinals team has recently lost a series to the Padres and a series to the Marlins. I got the Cubs in this one.
Reds / Pirates Under (9) - This one seems like it should be gift wrapped for us. I know Harvey has been touched up in his last three starts but he’s had success against this Pirates lineup in the past and this season. On May 22, he pitched 6 innings and only allowed 1 earned run against this Pirates team. He’s also held them to a .239 avg in 71 career at bats against him. Chad Kuhl has been good all season and he’s already pitched 11 innings against this Reds lineup this season and only allowed 3 earned runs. He’s held them to a .214 avg in 70 at bats.
Astros (-1.5) (Morton) - The Astros have won 8 games in a row and they have covered the run line -1.5 in 6 of those 8 wins. As hot as the Astros have been, the Royals have been colder and they have lost 9 of their last 10 games. Charlie Morton will take the mound for the Stros and he is 7-1 this season with a 2.82 earned run average. Jakob Junis will pitch for the Royals and he will have the last start he made against them on his mind. Just over a year ago on June 6, 2017, he gave up 7 runs in 3.2 innings pitched against this Astros lineup. I’m expecting the Astros to stay hot and a similar result tonight.
Parlay: Indians / Astros both moneylines (+109) - that’s a VALUABLE parlay.
PGA:
Justin Rose over Jimmy Walker - JACKHAMMER it straight up or play the -1.5 strong. Rose finished 4 strokes better than Walker yesterday and he will be pushing to make a run today.
