The first bet in New Jersey was placed at 10:30 a.m. this morning by Governor Phil Murphy. He put $20 on Germany to win the World Cup and $20 on the Devils to win the Stanley Cups next year (HOMER BET). Monmouth Park was a zoo this morning and there were plenty of people getting their action in. And of course, all of the buzz was around Stu Feiner, again. He came in with his “I’ll Kill Your Bookmaker” shirt and was screaming “LEGAL SPORTS BETTING” at the top of his lungs. I wish I could have got down there today so the media had a handicapper with some actual knowledge to interview instead of this guy.
He fell flat on his face in Delaware last Tuesday where he lost $4,000. Today he decided to bet $5,000 on one game based on the fact that he had a 50/50 chance to win. He took the Chicago White Sox which was a pretty dumb bet if you ask me since their starting pitcher was only making his second start since having shoulder surgery. He told a reporter, “the way I handicap is I like dogshit teams against good teams.” What an idiot. No research and no reasoning, this guy just throws money out the window in hopes to win and make people think he knows what he’s talking about. He lost another $5,000 today so that’s $9,000 in just over a week. Let’s also keep in mind, those are just counting the bets that he made publicly.
I will admit that Stu is entertaining but I’m sick of the hype that the media gives this guy. He puts on an act but he literally has no in depth knowledge of sports - period. He lost night after night in the NHL and NBA Finals. The baseball bets that he made publicly were a complete fucking joke and he lost $9,000 in 6 bets. Yet he claims that all these people trust him for his in depth analysis. The guy doesn’t document his picks. Anyone can post videos screaming they went 5-0 on a night when nobody paid $199 for his “$100,000 best bets.” I’ve been in contact with a few people who have paid for his picks and they have all told me that they lost, Stu gave them picks the next day for free, and they lost again.
I just don’t get how this guy is considered such a sports betting icon, it baffles me. He also told a reporter that he has only bet on sports for a living since he finished high school. THAT is a complete lie. Based on his betting skills, he would be living in an alleyway somewhere if that was his only source of income. He must have grown up in a family with money and has so much that he can just piss it all away. He’s doing a really good job of that. He’s 0-2 and we will see which state legalizes it next to see if he shows up on opening day for the strike out. See you in Connecticut Stu - I'll meet you there and give you some actual insight on a few MLB bets. #KOFSPORTS
