6/22 VIP Picks
(Correction - this was JOHN Lamb not Jake Lamb who pitched for the Angels last night)
We are on fire right now - 9-2 in our last 11 and 14-6 in our last 20. Now check this out, if you bet $100 on each out our last 11 MLB picks you would be up $575 and if you put $500 on each Jackhammer you would be up $1302. Regardless of what your bet size is, you are making money every day! One favor for you guys - I want each one of you to tell one of your friends about KofSports and what I do. You don’t have to try and make a sales pitch just tell them what I do and tell them to follow me. It’s Friday, let’s get to the weekend and the picks!
MLB:
Athletics (Manaea) (-130) - The A’s will take on 2-8 James Shields today who they own a .312 avg in 64 at bats. On top of that, there are five guys in this lineup who have hit a homerun against Shields before. No one in the White Sox lineup has faced Manaea but he has been good in June only allowing 7 runs in 18.2 innings pitched. I’ll take my chances with the A’s lineup having a field day against Shields and Manaea pitching good enough to get the win in this one. This one starts at 4 p.m. EST so it's an early one.
Dodgers (Wood) (-150) - JACKHAMMER. This Dodgers lineup has a small sample size against Zack Wheeler but they have hit him, HARD. 7-14 and 4 of those 7 hits were homeruns. Just over a year ago on June 19, 2017 is when this Dodgers lineup lit him up like a fucking Christmas tree for 7 earned runs in 2 innings. I don’t think much will change tonight when they take Wheeler and his 4.82 earned run average on at Citi Field. He might go longer than 2 innings this time around but I’m expecting Christmas in June again for people who bet on the Dodgers. Alex Wood will starts for LA and he has held this Mets lineup to a .214 avg in 42 at bats. I’m not seeing any scenario where the Mets out score the Dodgers tonight.

Astros (-1.5) (Keuchel) - The Astros just beat Danny Duffy 10-2 last Saturday. They put up 7 runs in 6 innings against him. The come into tonight’s rematch with a .320 avg in 97 career at bats against Duffy. The only reason we didn’t take the Astros last Saturday is because Dallas Keuchel was pitching and there’s no denying that he has sucked this year. However, he was good against the Royals last Saturday and didn’t allow any earned runs in 6 innings pitched. He’s held this Royals lineup to a .212 avg in 104 at bats. I’ll roll with the Stros tonight.
Giants (Stratton) (-135) - Great value in this one and a free trip to pound town for Clayton Richard. The Giants have a .366 avg & .578 slg% against him in 161 at bats. The Giants have scored 11 runs against Richard this season in 9 innings. If you average more than a run per inning against a pitcher, you’re probably going to win the game. Giants have Chris Stratton pitching tonight and the last time he pitched against this Padres team he only allowed 1 hit in 7 innings - Giants won that game 7-0. Like I said, great VALUE here.
Red Sox / Mariners Under (9) - We are 8-2 in our last 10 VIP MLB over unders, if you played the free play last night we are 9-2 in our last 10 MLB over unders. Not bad. Wade LeBlanc will take on this Red Sox lineup for the second time in less than a week and he was fantastic against them last Saturday. He only allowed 2 hits over 7.2 innings pitched and the Mariners won 1-0. Steven Wright will be going for the Sox who also pitched last Saturday against the Mariners and allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 7 innings. That game last Saturday was in Seattle and tonight will be at Fenway Park so there will be some runs scored but I still don’t see this game going over 9. That’s a lot of runs for this matchup and how there was only 1 run scored in this same matchup last Saturday.
