2-3 last night but the JACKHAMMER hit. I took the Red Sox and Mariners under but it turned out the Patriots and Seahawks were playing - 14-10. I’m not sure how all of you guys bet it but I came out with a large profit last night after putting $1k on the JACKHAMMER:
On to today!
Indians (-1.5) (Bauer) - The Indians just beat the Tigers 10-0 last night and I’m expecting another blow out today. The Indians come into today’s game against Liriano with a .289 avg in 114 at bats. The last time they faced him on May 15th, they put up 5 earned runs in 4.1 innings against him. Bauer has only allowed allowed 3 earned runs in 23 innings against this Tigers lineup this year. His last start against them was on June 8th and he only allowed 1 run over 8 innings. ITS TRIBE TIME!
Red Sox (ERod) (-165) - We just played this same matchup last Sunday and won. The Red Sox lineup scored 5 earned over 6 innings against Mike Leake. The Sox lineup has a .333 avg in 99 at bats against Leake. 9-1 ERod only allowed 2 runs to this Mariners lineup in 6 innings. ERod has held this lineup to a .229 avg in 70 at bats. Sox should jump on Leake again today.
Giants (Suarez) (-160) - The Giants will take on Jordan Lyles (who it seems like we always bet against and win) who they have a .333 avg in 105 at bats. The sample size is only one game for Andrew (let’s call him Andy) Suarez against the Padres but he went 7 innings and only allowed 2 runs. I like the Giants today.
Rockies (-176) - I’ll play the juice for this matchup. The Rockies will host the Marlins and starting pitcher Trevor Richards who comes in with a 5.45 earned run average. Look for that to go up today when he pitches in the thin air of the Rockies. Tyler Anderson has held this Marlins lineup to a .176 avg in a small sample size. I expect Richards to be sipping a cold Coors Light in the locker room by the end of the 5th inning in this one.
A Red Sox ML / Astros ML parlay pays even money - GREAT VALUE.
