4-1 with the third day in a row that we had a JACKHAMMER hit! We also had a nice underdog last night with the Cardinals winning although I wasn’t as aggressive on that play as I should have been. Their numbers against Ray looked great and sure enough, it was 4-0 in the first inning. All good, I’ll take it! Today we want to start our celebration for the Fourth of July with some fucking FIREWORKS!
MLB:
Rockies (Senzatela) (-109) - We had the Giants last night and the Rockies came up with two late rallies to spoil our 5-0 day. Today, we make up for the one loss last night by taking the team that gave it to us. It shouldn’t take long for the Rockies to score runs tonight with their history against Chris Stratton. They just scored 5 earned runs in 4 innings against him five days ago - that was when we bet the over and it hit in the 4th inning. The Rockies come into tonight’s game against Stratton with a .472 avg & .679 slg% against him. Add in some thin air in Colorado and they might score 20 runs against him tonight. Antonio Senzatela will start for the Rockies and he has held this Giants lineup to a .255 avg in 51 at bats. Senzatela is 4-1 lifetime against the Giants and has allowed 3, 1, 5, and 2 earned runs in those starts. The games he pitched at Coors Field were the games he allowed 2, 5, and 1 earned run(s). Great value here.
Mariners (LeBlanc) (-112) - Wade LeBlanc will start for the Mariners and he already has one good looking start against this Angels team this season when he allowed 2 solo shots in 5 innings pitched. Overall, he’s held this lineup to a .236 avg in 72 at bats. The Mariners have great numbers against Andrew Heaney and they scored 5 earned runs in 3 innings against him on June 11. The Mariners have a .341 avg & .732 slg% against him in 41 at bats. Heaney is also coming off of his worst start of the season when he gave up 6 earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched against the Red Sox.
Dodgers (Kershaw) (-1.5) - Well, I hope the Dodgers didn’t shoot their load too early last night and they saved some runs for Kershaw. 17-1 last night and they had 21 hits. Kershaw was probably sitting in the dugout like, “Can you guys save me some fucking runs for tomorrow?” I think the bats will stay hot tonight when the Dodgers take on Ivan Nova who they have a .309 avg in 55 at bats against. The Pirates are another team that Kershaw has been ok but nothing stellar against in the past but the Dodgers should get him the run support he needs this time. I’ll text Dave Roberts and tell him not to put in that bum Walker Buehler like last time. We should be good with this one tonight.
