Yankees (Cessa) (-145) - The Yanks bounced back last night after losing on Monday night, maybe it’s because they put the lazy cancer in the locker room Gary Sanchez on the DL. Anyway, they will be back in action early today at 12:10 EST taking on the Rays again. The will be up against Nathan Eovaldi who they already beat 5-0 this season on June 15. They also come into today’s match up against him with a .325 avg in 40 at bats. Didi Gregorius is hitting .556 with a homerun against Eovaldi so you could say he sees the ball well against him. Luis Cessa will get the start for the Yanks and he pitched 2 scoreless innings against this Rays team back on June 22. This Rays team has a small sample size of 19 at bats against Cessa lifetime but they only have 4 hits (.211 avg). I like the Yanks today and I like -145 value for this matchup.

Phillies (Arrieta) (+115) - RING THE BELL! The Phillies won for us last night in the 16th inning and we cashed +103 on the moneyline. It will be an early day for both teams after last night’s game didn’t end until 1:12 a.m. EST. Less than 12 hours later they will be back in action at Citizen’s Bank Park. I feel like the team with the momentum performs better after a late night / early day game turn around so the Phillies definitely have that going for them after a Plouffe’s walk off homerun in the 16th inning last night. Another thing that the Phillies have going for them is that Jake Arrieta has won his last four starts and he has held this Dodgers lineup to a .108 avg in 65 at bats. He pitched 7 scoreless innings in a 6-1 win against them back on May 29 this season. Walker Buehler will pitched for the Dodgers and only two Phillies have faced him before so not much history there. One fresh memory I have for Buehler is the one inning he pitched against the Cubs two appearances ago when he gave up 5 earned in 1 inning. I like the Phillies at plus money today!

Diamondbacks (Ray) (EVEN) - The DBacks have won three in a row and two of them have been convincing wins against the Cubs 5-1 and 7-1 the last two days. Jon Lester will start for the Cubs and he is coming off of the worst outing of his life when he gave up 8 earned in just 3 innings pitched against the Cardinals in a 18-5 loss. It won’t be easy for him to bounce back today against the DBacks lineup who comes in with a .383 avg in 60 career at bats against him. When a lineup has these kind of numbers against a guy, they come into the game so much more confident than usual. Robbie Ray has held this Cubs lineup to a .130 avg in a small sample size. Ray has been off and on his last few starts but I’m confident he will be good enough today and he will get plenty of run support from this confident DBack lineup.

Brewers (Peralta) (-125) - 4-1 Freddy Peralta will start for the Brew Crew today and he has never faced this Nationals lineup. He’s only allowed 1 earned run in 13 innings pitched at Miller Park this season. The Brewers lineup will take on 3-12 (that’s not a typo) Tanner Roark. You could say he’s having a rough season. The Brewers should keep his tough season going for him today since they come into this matchup with a .297 avg in 64 at bats. Grab me a BREW - NEED ONE!

Red Sox (Price) (-185) - PRICE CHECK! What did we say about David Price five days ago when we bet on him and won? He pitches great, when he’s not pitching against the Yankees. He will pitch against a bad Orioles team tonight that is far from the Yankees. Price has held this O’s lineup to a .255 career avg in 184 at bats. The Sox will take on Dylan Bundy who is 6-9 this season, likes 69, and has allowed 5 earned runs in each of his last three starts. Bundy is also 0-3 against the Sox this season and 2-6 against them since last season. I’m taking the Sox in this one.
