2-1 last night thanks to the Yanks losing and the Braves getting rained out (Braves were a lock so we would have been 3-1). Don’t call it a hot streak but that’s 3 winning days in our last 4. We have to keep it rolling today! MLB: Braves (Foltynewicz) (-175) - The Braves will take on the Mets tonight who have lost 4 of their last 5 games. Jason Vargas will start for the Mets and he comes in with a joke of an earned run average at 8.36. Vargas gave up 6 earned runs in 4 innings to this Braves lineup on May 3. Mike Foltynewicz will get the start for the Braves and he has held this Mets lineup to a .250 avg in a small one game sample size. The Braves have won 3 games in a row and they should stay hot tonight! Dodgers / Brewers Under (7) - Kershaw and Chacin have both allowed 1 run or less in 5+ innings in 3 of their last 4 starts. That should give us a solid start for the under in this one we just have to hope the Dodgers bullpen can hold up. Let’s say Chacin and Kershaw each go 6 or 7 innings and allow 1 run each, that gives us a 4 run cushion for the bullpens. Give me the under in this one. Nationals (Scherzer) (-1.5) - The Nats are coming off of two straight wins since they decided to go for it and take the chance by not trading Bryce Harper. They will take on Tyler Mahle who has given up 3, 6, & 5 earned runs in his last 3 starts. Max Scherzer will pitch for the Nats and he has held this Reds lineup to a .222 avg in 63 at bats. Cardinals (Mikolas) (-144) - Miles Mikolas has allowed 2 earned runs of less in 6 of his last 7 starts. He hasn’t faced this Rockies lineup before but I’m expecting him to have a similar result today, this guy is good - he is 11-3 this season. Senzatela will pitch for the Rockies and he comes in with an earned run average over 5. I think the Cardinals will give Mikolas the run supports he needs today.
