3-1 last night and that now makes us profitable 4 out of the last 5 nights. You know what they say when you go 3-1, “ITS TIME TO PARTY!” Are you glad you didn’t bet on NFL last night? You should be because the public play of Ravens (-2.5) didn’t cover and the over under pushed. Don’t get me wrong, football is going to be HUGE for us but not for a few more weeks. We are putting together quite an MLB run so let’s keep it going.
Happy Birthday Tom Brady.
Phillies (Velasquez) (-1.5) - The last time Vince Velasquez pitched against the Marlins was on April 7th of this season and he only allowed 1 earned run over 6 innings pitched. The Phillies won that game 20-1.
I don’t think the Phils will score 20 runs tonight but they come in with a .312 avg in 32 at bats against Trevor Richards. I do think the Phils put up 5+ and that will be enough to cover the run line tonight.
Dodgers / Astros Over (7) - Ahhh a World Series rematch tonight in L.A. I’m taking the over tonight in this one. 8 out of the last 10 have gone over or pushed at 7 for the Astros. The Dodgers new lineup has scored 27 runs in their last 2 games. Verlander has been spotty over the last month and he’s allowed a 5 piece to the Rays & Tigers. This Dodgers lineup will be much more challenging than those lineups. Alex Wood will be Alex Wood and he will give up 2-3 runs if not more. The Dodgers pen has been shaky so the Stros should put up some late runs. I like the over in this one tonight.
Mariners (Gonzales) (-165) - The Mariners have won the last 5 games that good ol Marco Gonzales has started. He’s allowed 2 runs or less in all of those starts. Ryan Borucki will start for the Jays and the Mariners have never faced him but they should be able to score 2+ for Gonzales to get his 6th straight win. The Mariners have lost 3 in a row but I fully expect them to snap that streak tonight.
Diamondbacks (Corbin) (-195) - This one will definitely go over -200 by game time so they earlier you can get this one, the better. Corbin has been great against the Giants this season - he’s pitched a complete game shut out against them on April 17th. He also has 2 starts of 6+ innings where he only allowed 1 earned run. The DBacks bats scored 3 earned in 4 innings against Stratton the last time they faced him. I LOVE the Diamondbacks tonight - JACKHAMMER!!!!
It’s time to PARTYYYYYY!!!
