2-0-1 last night! The over in the Sox Yanks game was a push and they left a combined 23 runners on base....they should have scored at least 15. I’ll take it and I say it’s time to put together a nice hot streak.
Mariners (LeBlanc) - The Mariners come in with eye popping numbers against Martin Perez. They own a .342 avg & .605 slg% in 152 at bats. They also have 11 career homeruns off of him. Perez comes into this game with a 6.50 earned run average. Wade LeBlanc will be pitching for the Mariners and he has held this Rangers lineup to a .250 avg in a small sample size. Give me the Mariners tonight.
Astros (Morton) (-150) - The Astros have won 4 out of their last 5 games and they have been against good opponents. Charlie Morton will pitch for the Astros tonight and he comes in at 12-2 with a 2.90 earned run average. The Astros will face Derreck Rodriguez who comes in 5-1 but he hasn’t faced a lineup like this Astros lineup. Give me the Stros!
White Sox (Covey) (+165) - The Yankees are feeling a little tired after blowing a 4-1 lead late last night to the Red Sox. The game ended around 1 a.m. EST. I can’t imagine they got on the plane until after 2 a.m. to fly out to Chicago where they will take on the White Sox. Lance Lynn will make his debut for the Yankees and the White Sox hitters will be licking their chops. They have a .339 avg in 56 career at bats against him. Dylan Covey can be good but he’s not great. I think he will take advantage of the tired Yankees tonight and I have the White Sox pulling the upset tonight.
