Cleveland Browns 2018 Preview
The NFL season is right around the corner and that means the best time of the year to be betting on sports! I am going to do a betting preview for each team over the next month and they will be released at different times leading up to the season but there will be at least one per day. I will start from the bottom of the 2017 standings and work my way up to the top breaking down each team’s offseason moves and what I think they will do this season. I will do a live broadcast on Wednesday, September 5th (LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY) with my predictions for the 2018 NFL season (division winners and playoff predictions).
So let’s get this party started by breaking down the Cleveland Browns who went 0-16 last season.

What to expect against the spread (ATS)?
4-12 straight up and I’m predicting they go 9-7 against the spread. They will be a nice team to take with the points this season.
Things to watch for:
I don’t think there is much for Browns fans to get their hopes up for this season other than the fact that Baker Mayfield will be taking over this offense early on in the season if not in Week 1. It will be a developing season for him for sure but it will be a step in the right direction. The defense was good in yards allowed last year but just about dead last when it came to points allowed.
Fantasy Outlook:
QB:
Baker Mayfield - I wouldn’t bank on him as your number one. Might be worth a late round pick to stash on your bench for later in the season.

WR
Josh Gordon - Top 50
Jarvis Landry - Top 50
I don’t think they have much more than top 50 potential due to the fact that Mayfield will be going through his rookie season in the NFL. They will be solid guys to have on your squad this season but I don’t see them being incredible.
RB
Duke Johnson - Top 100
Carlos Hyde - Top 100
Nick Chubb - Top 100
Talented backfield here but it’ll be tough for any of them to really outshine the others with a party of three. If one of these guys get hurt then the other two will be huge assets.
