Things to watch for:

I’m expecting this defense to be great which is something that new quarterback Case Keenum had on his team last year. Will Case Keenum be the guy to lead this offense back to the playoffs? I’m not sure if Thomas and Sanders will be enough fire power. It will be interesting to see how Royce Freeman can translate his game to the NFL level at runningback. I’m not sure if he has the speed to be the kind of player that he was in college at Oregon. I just don’t see the Broncos being in the hunt for the playoffs or even the AFC West for that matter, maybe next year.

Fantasy Outlook:

Case Keenum - he’s not a guy that I would really target in this year’s draft but he will be one of the first guys that I pick up if I have an injury at the QB position.

Demaryious Thomas - Top 15 - His big athletic target is something that will make him Keenum’s best friend early in the season.

Emmanual Sanders - Top 25 - Based on his pre draft rankings, I guess I can consider him a must have sleeper this season. Maybe it’s because he had a down year last season but he had 1000+ yds & 5+ TDs in the 3 seasons before that. He had a shit QB and battled an ankle injury last year. I expect him to bounce back this season.

Royce Freeman - I think he is a sleeper all though it remains to be seen how much BOOM there will be for him. He is going to go in the late rounds and if you’re in a toss up between a fill in RB / 4th WR give this guy a shot and keep him on your bench for a few weeks.

No thanks.
