2-1 last night for a winning start to the week, DBacks left 7 guys on base last night and lost 2-0. A lot of HUGE moneylines tonight that we should stay away from but let’s see what we can put together for another winning night.

Cardinals (Flaherty) (-160) - The Cards will host the Bucs tonight and they will be up against Ivan Nova who they have a .360 avg & .640 slg% against in 75 at bats. Jack Flaherty gets the start for the birds and he has held this Pirates lineup to a .238 avg in 63 at bats. With just over a month to go in the regular season these teams are going in opposite directions - the Cards have won 4 out of their last 5 and hold the top NL Wild Card spot while the Pirates have lost 4 out of their last 5 and are pretty much ready to pack in their season.

Cubs / Mets Under (9) - deGrom will start for the Mets tonight and the unders have been valuable to us when he pitches this year. We are 9-2 for a profit of 6.18 units in the games deGrom pitches that we took the under. He has good numbers against this Cubs lineup and has held them to a .226 avg in 84 at bats. Cole Hamels will pitch for the Cubbies and he hasn’t allowed more than 1 earned run in any of his 5 starts since being traded to the Cubs. The line would be 7 if it wasn’t for the 13 mph winds forecasted for game time but I’ll take deGrom and Hamels to keep the ball on the ground and get strikeouts. Under 9 all day.

Nationals / Phillies Under (7) - We just played this same matchup five days ago and what a pitching performance by both Scherzer and Nola. Scherzer went 7 innings allowing 2 hits and 2 runs while Nola went 8 scoreless innings. Both of these guys have dominated the opposing lineups in large sample sizes and I like the under again tonight. Scherzer has held the Phils to a .194 avg in 247 at bats. Nola has held the Nats to a .230 avg in 161 at bats. Under. Under. Under.
