When’s the last time you took a -130 baseball moneyline and they won 21-3? Easy win and great start to the day with the Oakland A’s yesterday afternoon and then we rolled it into the night cap when it turned into Baker Time in Cleveland and the Browns not only won but covered the -3! Our Tyrod Taylor player prop would have hit if he didn’t get hurt, he had 22 in the first half. I’ll take 2-1 everyday. It’s Friday and I’m ready for a HUGE weekend.
Yankees (Sabathia) (-1.5) - JACKHAMMER - CC Sabathia will start for the Yanks tonight and he has lost three games in a row but he has good history against this Orioles lineup. He has held them to a .253 avg in a huge sample size of 221 at bats. Now, let’s get to the good part - the Yankees lineup against Yefry Ramirez! The Yanks come in with a .340 avg & .511 slg% in 47 at bats against him. When this Yankees lineup was healthy earlier this season, they beat Ramirez 10-2 and 6-3. I’m liking the Yanks to cover the run line tonight and I’m liking it a lot - GET THE JACKHAMMER OUT!!
UCF (-13.5) - UCF had a bye week last week after their game was cancelled due to the hurricane. Before that, they had two blowout wins where they outscored their opponents 94-17, SUP? The Knights have had a balanced attack in both games so far this season racking up a total of 612 rushing yards and 606 passing yards. This FAU defense is allowing 451 yards per game this season and they allowed 63 points to a similar Oklahoma offense in a 63-14 loss. If the UCF defense can key in and shut down FAU running back Devin Singletary, this game could get out of hand and we could see a similar score to that FAU/Oklahoma score. I don’t think it will be a 63-14 blowout tonight but I do think that UCF is better than FAU and it will show tonight when they cover the -13.5.
Washington State / USC Over (50.5) - These are different teams than last year but these two played to a 30-27 final last season. I look at this one as needing 25.5 points a side and I’m confident that we can count on that tonight. Let’s start with the Washington State offense - they have scored 41, 31, and 59 this season although USC will be a tougher challenge tonight. The USC secondary is banged up so this Washington State passing attack should be able to get going tonight and that will force USC to play at a fast pace to keep up with them, that will play to our advantage. The USC offense hasn’t been impressive at all this year but two of their games were against the tough defenses of Stanford and Texas. The Washington State defense is NOT Stanford or Texas and they allowed 19 & 24 this year to offenses much worse than USC. 25.5 a side tonight - book it! I think each side will score 30+ tonight and we can go to bed before this one ends.
