10/19 VIP Picks

Blazers, Broncos, Lightning - winners. MLB Over, Devils - losers. 3-2 night for a winning night but our MLB Playoff picks fall to 17-5....and I’m legit mad about it. Good thing we have another game tonight! Happy Friday boys let’s get to the picks.

MLB:

Brewers (Miley) (-104) - Yes, I’m expecting the Brewers to win tonight and force a game 7 in this series. Miley was great in game 2 going 5.2 scoreless innings and only allowing 2 hits against this Dodgers lineup. The Brewers come in hitting .303 against Ryu in a small sample size. The Brew Crew also has Josh Hader available out of the pen tonight so that’s a huge advantage. They are 2-1 in games that he has pitched this series. The Brewers should feed off of their home crowd tonight and get this win, it should be crazy in Milwaukee.

NBA:

2-0 to start the NBA season, let’s keep it rolling tonight.

Celtics (+2.5) - Both of these teams are off to 1-0 starts and project to be a couple of the top teams in the East. Raptors beat up on the Cavs in their first game but that’s not as impressive as the 17 point win the Celtics had against the Sixers who I think will be better than the Raptors this year. Kyrie was 2-14 shooting in that game and the Celtics still won by 17. They are deeper than the Raptors and the second unit won’t just hold the lead, they will build it. I’d take the Celts if they were -2.5 but I’m taking the +2.5 because the books are giving it to us. Csssss ☘️

Stay away - Warriors look like great value at -2.5 on the road tonight against the Jazz but I don’t think we should take it. The Jazz were the only team to beat the Warriors three games last season and they won their home games by an average of 35 points. To put the cherry on top, 87% of the public are betting the Warriors tonight. There’s your warning, do what you want with it.

NHL:

Capitals (-150) - The Caps got a win in their last game against the Rangers to break the two game skid they had. They will host a Panthers team tonight who hasn’t won a game yet this season. -150 is good value for this matchup at home for the CAPS.

NCAAF:

Not feeling like there’s any value in the College Football games tonight but we will crush it tomorrow.
