10/20 VIP Picks

1-2 last night for a losing night but hopefully you guys took the warning on the Warriors -2.5 line and I saved you from losing money there. It’s Saturday and we have Game 7 of the NLCS, College Football, NBA, and NHL. What else needs to be said then let’s have a HUGE day. YOU GOTTA FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARLAYYYYYYYYY!

MLB:

Brewers (Chacin) (-105) - I bet you guys didn’t see this pick coming but the Brewers are set up perfectly to win this Game 7 tonight. Jhoulys Chacin will start for them and he pitched 5.1 scoreless innings only allowing 3 hits in Game 3. He has held this Dodgers lineup to a .236 avg in 174 at bats. They also didn’t pitch Josh Hader last night so he will be available for an extended outing tonight. Walker Buehler will start for the Dodgers and the Brewers scored 4 earned runs in 7 innings against him in Game 3. Of course he will be on a short leash and it will be an all hands on deck pitching situation but I like the Brewers to get to Buehler early. 18-5 in MLB Playoff picks and a Brewers win will put us at 19-5 going into the World Series. GO BREWERS!

NCAAF:

Michigan (-7.5) - I think a lot of people will be on Michigan State in this one with the big win they are coming off of against Penn State last week and they are home. Michigan has won 6 straight since losing their season opener against Notre Dame. The one thing that can be said about Michigan is that they have only played two road games and one of those was the loss against Notre Dame. The other road game was against Northwestern who they beat 20-17. That same Northwestern team beat Michigan State 29-19. Michigan is coming off of a huge 38-13 win in primetime against Wisconsin last week and they should be hyped for today’s matchup against the Spartans. GO BLUE!!

Oklahoma (-7.5) - The Sooners are coming off of their first loss of the season last week against the Texas Longhorns where they lost 48-45 what a shootout. They are still ranked 9th in the country and they are a much better team than the TCU team that they will play today. There was a lot of hype for this TCU team coming into the season but things went south pretty quick for them after losing to Ohio State and they have lost 3 of their last 4 including a 31-16 loss against the Texas Longhorns team that Oklahoma just battle to the end last week. TCU has averaged just 15.6 points per game in their last 3 and that will not be enough against this #2 ranked Oklahoma offense that is averaging 48 points per game this season. 4 of Oklahoma’s 5 wins this year were by double digits and I’m confident that they will add another double digit victory today.

Alabama (-28.5) - Week after week the Tide continues to roll. They come in undefeated and have outscored their opponents 375-106 with an average margin of victory by 38 points. Tennessee is coming off of a big win against #21 Auburn but don’t expect that to matter much today against Bama. Bama is averaging 56 points per game and 567 yards of offense (they take their starters out in the 3rd too). Bama does have a few injuries including Tua’s knee but he is going to play and he should be good to carve up the Volunteers defense. Tennessee got their offense going last week against Auburn but good luck today against this Bama defense that is only allowing 15 points per game this season. The Tide should continue to roll today - Roll. Damn. Tide.

Ohio State (-12.5) - Ohio State comes in undefeated 7-0. They had a scare last week in the first half against Minnesota but they turned it on in the second half and pulled away. I think that was a nice wake up call that this team needed and I don’t think they will let their guard down again. Tonight will be a primetime showdown against Purdue who will be playing the first of three games in a row against top 25 opponents. Purdue has won 3 in a row but they haven’t seen any type of competition that they will see tonight against Ohio State and their #5 ranked offense who is averaging 46.3 points per game. The Buckeyes should win this game comfortably.

Teasers (Play in groups of 2) Listed in order of confidence:

Oklahoma (-1.5)

Michigan (-1.5)

LSU (-0.5)

Memphis / Missouri OVER (65.5)

NBA:

Rockets (-3.5) - Both of these teams come in 0-1 but I think te Rockets will spoil the home opener for Lebron and his Lakers tonight. The Lakers aren’t going to be as good as people think the year and the Rockets will be one of the best teams in the West.

NHL:

Jets ML / Sharks ML Parlay (+114) - Two good teams playing two bad teams and we can get plus money by parlaying the moneylines. Seems like free money.

CROSS SPORT PARLAY:

Kentucky ML / LSU ML / Oklahoma ML / Michigan ML / Brewers ML / Jets ML / Sharks ML (+1186)
