Yikes. Ohio fucks us two Wednesdays in a row and two teams in the NBA lose who were favored by 10. There’s only one way to go today and that’s up. Thankfully it’s Thursday so we get our football weekend started up tonight!

NFL:

Packers (+3) - Let’s take the points in this one but let me be clear, I think the Packers are going to win this game tonight. A lot of people are talking about how the Packers have struggled on the road this year and that’s a fair points, they are 0-4 but 3 of those losses came against teams that were first place in their division (Redskins, Rams, & Patriots). I’ll give the Seahawks some credit before I destroy them, they have played the Rams tough twice this season and both losses were one possession games. For the record, the Packers played the Rams tough too in a 2 points loss. Ok, now I’ll destroy the Seahawks - the combined record of the teams they have beat this season is 10-26. 10-26. 10-26. They beat the Cowboys, Cardinals, Raiders, and Lions. Have a fucking parade why don’t you. Like I’ve already said, 3 of the 4 Packers losses came against teams who are in first place in their division. Both teams are just one game back of the second Wild Card spot in the NFC so this is a big game for both teams. This Packers offense was really clicking last Sunday and I think that will continue tonight. The public is betting this game like they are the 12th man for the Seahawks and 56% of the money is on the Seahawks o cover -3. Let’s go the other way and let’s go PACKERS. GO PACK GO!

NCAAF:

Toledo (-13) - Kent State comes into this one just 2-8 with nothing to play for and Toledo needs a win to become bowl eligible. Kent State has struggled to get their offense going this season and a big part of that is the offensive line who has allowed QB Woody Barrett to be sacked 36 times this season. Toledo has shown flashes of a good pass rush at time this season so they should be coming into this game tonight hungry against a piss poo offensive line of Kent State. The Toledo offense is averaging just under 40 points per game this season and that will be tough for the Kent State offense to match tonight since they have only scored more than 30 points in 2 games this season. Take those two games out and the Kent State offense is averaging just 18 points per game. The combination of Toledo’s high powered offense and Kent State’s vulnerable O-Line, I have to think that Toledo absolutely blows Kent State out tonight. Book it.

NHL:

Predators (-145) - Not a bad moneyline here for this matchup. Yes, the Preds have lost two in a row but they are still 13-4-1 on the season and are the best team in the league. The Coyotes have lost 4 of their last 5 and 3 of those losses were by two goals or more including their last game that was a 6-1 loss against the Red Wings. Give me the Preds to get back on track tonight against the Coyotes. #BetAgainstTheCoyotes

NCAAB:

Syracuse / Uconn Over (136) - We are 2-0 on NCAAB this season and 1-0 when we take the over. We haven’t take a ton of NCAAB action yet but it’s good to pick and choose the matchups you take early in the season and see how certain teams are performing before you jump in and start taking a ton of action. This matchup tonight looks like the over is a must play. Both teams come in 2-0 and 3 of the 4 games combined have gone over 136. Uconn is averaging 87 points per game and Cuse is averaging 75 points per game. You add those averages up and you get 162. We are talking over 136 here. Granted Uconn and Cuse will play better defense than their previous opponents have but both teams will be looking to play at a fast pace and I don’t think the defense will make a 30 points difference in this game. Look for this game to go over!

Gonzaga (-16) - Who is staying up late for this one!? 11:30 EST tip time and this one will go into the early hours of Friday morning. It’s ok though, this one should be over by half time. Gonzaga comes in ranked the 3rd team in the Nation and they have won their first two games by an average of 39 points. 39 fucking points! Texas A&M comes in 1-1 and they lost to UC Irvine. The Zags are ranking first in points scored per game at 112 compared the TAM 52nd with 85 points per game. The Zags also play defense and are allowing 73 points per game (mostly because their opponents have so many opportunities because they are scoring at the other end). This one should be over by halftime. Go Zags!
