2-2 last night but the JACKHAMMER hits so if you all doubled down on that one or even tripled down you had a nice winning night. Two in a row to start the week and it’s hump day! Raptors started slow but came on late, Pacers made it more interesting than it should have been but they had control of the game for most of the game. Virginia Tech lets us down big time and so did the Lightning. I’ll take a winning night but sometimes I get greedy and looking back at those matchups I just don’t see how they didn’t work out for us. Let’s see what we can put together for a third straight winning night this week!
North Carolina (+3) - It’s happening, it’s really happening! This is our first underdog of the College Hoops season and it couldn’t come at a better time. UNC 6-1, Michigan 6-0. Michigan’s defense has been great this season allowing just 48 points per game this season. BUT UNC is very good offensively averaging 96.6 points per game. Michigan will be able to slow down UNC a little but I don’t think Michigan will have the fire power to hang with them down the stretch. The books are giving us +3 for a team who is averaging 26 more points per game than the favorite and 68% of the public money is on Michigan? Ha. GIVE ME U N C 🗣👣
2 Team Teaser:
North Carolina (+7) / Syracuse / Ohio State Over (130.5) - We are riding with North Carolina straight up on the spread so we might as well tease them up 4 more points to +7 for this teaser. Syracuse and Ohio State should be able to go over 130.5, we will need 66 points each and both teams are averaging more point than that per game - Ohio State is averaging 81 ppg and Cuse is averaging 73.6 points per game. Both teams have shown that they are capable of filling it up this season! You may get a little worried about this one if you look at their average points allowed per game but you need to take into account who they have played. Teams like Colgate, Morehead State, Cleveland, and Samford are going to allow you to get a nice looking defensive points per game number. These offenses going head to head tonight should be able to score in the 70s on each side at minimum.
Blues / Red Wings Over (5.5) - Both of these teams can score but I like this over more based on what both of these teams do defensively, and that’s allow opponents to score at will. A nice example of this is if you look at the last game for both teams. Combined, they allowed their opponents to score 15 goals in their last game. On the year, the Blues are allowing 3.32 goals per game and the Red Wings are allowing 3.25 goals per game. The poor defense and goaltending has been going on all season for these two teams and it should continue tonight. Over set at 5.5 for a Wednesday Night matchup on NBC Sports Network - let’s take the OVER to get us through humpday and on to the back half of the week.
Clippers / Blazers / Rockets (-101) - This is even money boys, EVEN money! Clippers have the 4-16 Suns who suck, Blazers host the 10-11 Magic and Blazers are 7-3 at home this season, and Rockets return home after a tough road trip where they have won their last 4 at home. Big spreads and these games but we just need them to win straight up.
