3-1 last night and only 2 hoops away from a clean 4-0 sweep but Michigan blew a lead and barely hung on for the win over Northwestern. Michigan was up 45-30 at one point in the second half so I’m not sure how they gagged on that lead with their “great” defense. Hockey was exciting for us and we had two overtime wins that we closed out within five minutes of eachother. Hockey started slow for us this year, just like last year but we have won our last 8 of 10 and it’s only December 5th - the season will go into June so we have plenty of hot streaks to ride and get to a respectable number. 5-1 to start the week so let’s see what we have for high percentage plays tonight to keep us rolling into the back half of the week and the weekend.
Ducks (-145) - The Ducks are riding a hot streak and they have won 4 in a row - more impressive is the fact that they have won 4 in a row and they were all road games. They have also won 6 of their last 7 games so things are clicking for them right now. They will return home tonight to host the Blackhawks who have lost 4 in a row and they have allowed 22 goals in their last 4 games. I’m expecting the Ducks to stay hot here and take advantage of the poor defense/goaltending that has been happening with this Blackhawks team not just recently but all season long - they are allowing 3.68 goals per game. This one is the late night game on NBC Sports Network. Let’s go Ducks!
Clippers (+2) - There’s no doubt that the Grizzlies have been playing good ball so far this season and it’s been a nice turn around for them from last year when they had the second worst record in the NBA. However, the Clippers have been playing even better this season and are playing flawless right now - they have won 12 of their last 15 games including a 112-107 win over the Grizzlies on 11/23. The Grizz have lost 4 of their last 5 and the one win took two overtimes against the Nets….sooooooooo basically they have had a stretch of 5 games that have been unimpressive. It is the final game of a 4 game road trip for the Clippers but with they way they have been playing, I don’t think this is a let down game for them. Take the Clips with the points!
Thunder ML / Nuggets ML / Warriors ML (+118) - Where to begin with this one? The Thunder have won 4 out of their last 5 games and the 1 loss was to a very good Nuggets team. The Thunder have won each of their last 3 games by 15 or more points. They will take on a Nets team that has lost 7 in a row. Next up, the Nuggets who have won 6 in a row including a 112-87 win back on 11/23 against this Magic team that they will play tonight. Finally, to close it out we have the Warriors taking on the Cavs in a Finals rematch and this one should be about as close as Game 4 of the Finals last year when the Warriors beat the Cavs 108-85. LeBron is gone and this Cavs team is just 5-18. The only thing that they are competing for this year is the #1 pick in the draft. Three moneylines for three teams that I don’t see losing tonight and this one pays plus money. #VALUE
