1/3 VIP Picks
Another good night last night with two parlays hitting at plus money! $100 on each profited $270 so not bad value at all for two parlays that some people out there would call “cheap.” You also hit the hammer if you decided to double down on the Flames or Penguins individually but I won’t take credit for those because it wasn’t an “official pick.” I know I’ve been a little quiet during this 14-3 run for +17.7 units and I haven’t been posting videos but I’ve been pretty sick the last week. I’m convinced that I’m dying from the flu and I am going out on top! So with that, here’s to more medication and more fucking winners, lfg.
NHL:
Capitals (-120) - Not sure why this line is so good, no injuries to report. I guess the books are buying into the fact that Ovechkin hasn’t scored a goal in 6 games and that the Caps are coming off of a 6-3 loss to the Predators on New Year’s Eve. I don’t know about you, but on New Year’s Eve my #1 priority would not be my hockey game. Anyways, this Caps team is still 16-4 in their last 20 games and they are sitting in first place in their division. The Blues have not been good this season and they come in just 15-18-4 and have lost 3 of their last 5 while being outscored by 10 goals in those 3 losses. I will take the CAPS in this one tonight and I would like to personally thank the books for such a valuable moneyline on this matchup.
Lightning (-190) - This moneyline is not as valuable but since we hit a +156 in NHL last night I’m taking this one tonight. The Lightning have won 14 of their last 15 games BUT they have covered the -1.5 puck line in less than half of those games. Granted, tonight’s opponent will be the worst team that they have played during that stretch but I would rather take them to win straight up than to get burnt by them not covering the puck line. Look at the chances over their last 15 games - Win 93% Cover the Puckline 40%. I’ll pay the juice on this one and roll with the 93% chance of winning. Oh yeah, I’ll also double down on this one. JACKHAMMER!
NBA:
Nuggets (-3.5) - The Nuggets come in winners of 3 straight and 7 of their last 10. They will go on the road to take on the Kings tonight who they already beat once this season back on 10/23 126-112. The Kings are coming off of 2 straight losses and they haven’t covered +3.5 in their last 9 losses. The Kings have shown that they do have the fire power to keep up with this Nuggets team as they average 115 points per game but their problem has been defense this season. The Kings come in allowing 117 points per game compared to the 105 of the Nuggets and I think that will be the difference in this game tonight. Let’s go Nuggets!
