2-1 last night for a good bounce back but we need to build off of that and put together another winning week. Lightning win 2-0 and Warriors win by 31 when the spread was -1. The hockey over doesn’t hit even though both teams had scored 3+ goals each in 4 of their last 5 games. Let’s build off of it tonight with some high percentage plays!
Bruins (-150) - The Bruins have lost 2 out of their last 3 but they had won 8 of their last 10 before that stretch. The Flyers are the complete opposite and they have won 2 of their last 3 games but they lost 8 in a row before that. The Bruins beat the Flyers 3-0 in their only meeting this season back on 10/25. Another thing about the Bruins 2 recent losses is that 1 was against the Capitals who have gone 11-0-3 in their last 14 against the Bruins and the loss to the Canadiens came in overtime. The Bs have been playing good hockey despite the 2 recent losses and I think they will get back on track against the Flyers tonight. This one is on NBC Sports Network.
Flames (-210) - I know, this one is breaking the golden rule that I usually play by and that’s the fact that we don’t usually take moneylines pricier than -200. Here’s the deal, if you don’t want to play the juice in this one, that’s fine. BUT, this one seems like as close to a sure thing as we are going to get tonight. The Sabres have lost 4 out of their last 5 and the most recent loss came to the Oilers where they lost 7-2. The Flames have won 5 in a row but only 2 of those wins were by 2 goals or more. The Flames are also home tonight where they are 15-4-4 and Buffalo is 9-11-3 on the road. I know some of you will complain about this pick because of the odds and feel free to DM me about it. I’ll just tell you you’re welcome for the free money. Take it.
Rockets (-1.5) / Bucks (-2) - The Nets are coming off of a win against the Celtics the other night but the Celts didn’t have their All Star Kyrie Irving playing in that game. The Rockets All-Star and MVP will be playing tonight and James Harden will be tough for this Nets team to stop who are allowing 111 points per game. The Rockets have been playing great ball and they are currently on a 14-4 stretch. The same can be said for the Nets who are on a 14-5 run but they have struggled on the road against good teams at full strenght - 122-105 loss to the Raptors, 116-95 loss to the Celtics and 129-115 loss to the Bucks. I like the Rockets to cover -1.5 for us. Then for the second part of the teaser we have the Bucks who have been rolling through the league this season and have won 15 of their last 20 games. The Grizzlies have lost 13 of their last 16 games. Their most recent loss came to the Rockets 112-94 who the Bucks just beat 116-109. I like the Bucks in this game, especially teased down to -2.
