The Warriors have cost me $1,500 over the last two days....MONEYLINE not even the spread. What. The. Fuck. It’s officially a cold streak after the third straight losing day yesterday. Let’s turn it around tonight and close the week out strong.
Capitals (-110) - The Caps have been hot and they are 5-2 in their last 7. They have scored 3 or more goals in all 5 of those wins while scoring 13 goals over their last 2 games. I don’t think they’ll be scoring a 6 or 7 piece again tonight against this Islanders defense who is holding opponents to 2.30 goals per game this season but I do like the Caps to go on the road and get the win over the Isles who have lost 3 of their last 5 and who they beat 4-1 last time they played in New York.
Golden Knights (-155) - Update 2:28 est - line has moved to -180 on sportsbook.ag and it’s going to keep moving as we get closer to puck drop. The Knights have won 2 games in a row and have scored 4+ goals in each of those games. They are 2-0 against this Ducks “team” this season who have lost 24 of their last 29 games. So if you have bet against them every game during that stretch you would be winning 83% of the time. I like those odds and I’ll take them tonight.
Bucks - - - so, here’s the deal on this one. I’d prefer taking the moneyline even though it’s -200 here since we have a cold streak going the last few days. But the -5 seems like a solid play too if you want the -110 odds. The Bucks have won 18 of their last 20 games and they have won by an average of 13 points per game in those 18 wins. The Lakers are 4-6 in their last 10 and 2-2 since the All Star break. Only time will tell if they can make a push for the playoffs but I think the Bucks will be too much of a challenge for them tonight. To put it in perspective of the Lakers matching up with a top level team, they have lost their last two to the Warriors 115-101 and 130-111.
