5/2 VIP Picks

I add a play and it burns us! Blake Snell has officially been placed on the Do Not Bet List until further notice after getting tagged yesterday. Nuggets and Blazers combined for 113 missed field goal attempts last night, so much for the over. Trends were there for both losses but they didn’t work out for us. Definitely a slow start to the week with a few mediocre days but stick to the system and don’t go taking a huge parlay. We are due for a big day today so let’s see what we got.

2:15 EST

Rays (Morton) (-164) - The Rays burnt us and I mean burnt us yesterday with their ace getting fucking shelled but I think they will make up for it today. Charlie Morton will start for the Rays and he has been good this year minus that one inning against the Sox when Benny hit a grand slam. Morton comes in 3-0 with a 2.76 earned run average. The Rays will face Danny Duffy who is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA and they come in hitting just under .300 in 59 at bats.

8:10 EST

Red Sox (Price) (-1.5) - The Sox have won three straight and they have covered the run line in each of those games while averaging 7 runs per game over that stretch. They will be on the road taking on the White Sox and Lucas Giolito tonight.  Giolito has allowed 5+ runs in 5 innings or less in 2 of his last 3 starts and he only lasted 2.2 innings in his last start. David Price will be pitching for the Sox and he has three starts in a row where he has pitched 5+ innings while allowing 2 or less earned runs.

Bonus parlay:

Not documenting this as a pick because I’m suggesting playing both MLB plays individually due to the slow start to the week but a Rays/Red Sox moneyline parlay pays +138.

10:00 EST

Sharks / Avalanche Over (6) - JACKHAMMER - NEED IT! We played this one the other night and had to settle for the push at 6 but that was the first game out of six head to head matchups this season that they did not go over 6. It’s not like the scoring chances weren’t there. Multiple missed opportunities and my ears are still ringing from the shots that went off of the posts the other night. Let’s come back and fire on the over in Colorado again tonight. These two teams have final scores of 9, 7, 7, 7, 7, & 6 this season. LFG!!!
