How about that for a bounce back!? 5-1 with a JACKHAMMER win and 1 Mets run away from a 6-0 day. HUGE day yesterday and much needed after Friday. Let’s see what we have to stay hot today!

MLB:

1:35 EST

Dodgers (Maeda) (-160) - The Dodgers have owned the Pirates in the first two games of this series and they have owned them over the last two years - they are 17-2 against the Pirates since 2017. The Dodgers have scored 7+ runs in 4 of their last 5 games. They will be up against Chris Archer today who has been struggling and has lost four starts in a row. Kenta Maeda will make his first start back from the injured list but he has a 14.2 inning scoreless streak going and comes in 5-2 on the season. Give me the Dodgers today!

2:10 EST

Twins (Odorizzi) (-1.5) - The Twins are 9-1 in their last 10 and they have covered the run line in 8 of those wins. Jake Odorizzi will start for the Twins today and he comes in 6-2 on the year with a 2.38 earned run average. He has been dealing this season and that shouldn’t change today against this White Sox lineup who he has held to a .203 avg in 69 at bats. The Twins offense who has scored 8+ runs in each of their last 4 games will take on Dylan Covey who is still winless on the year. The Twins are hitting just under .300 in 38 career at bats against him. I like the Twins to cover the run line today!

3:10 EST

Rockies (Marquez) (-1.5) - There’s plenty of juice on this run line but if your book offers the adjusted -2.5 I like that as well. The Rockies will take on David Hess at Coors Field. I repeat, the Rockies will take on David Hess at Coors Field. Can you imagine how ugly the result of thin air is going to be for Hess? He’s coming off of back to back losses where he allowed 14 runs and 7 homeruns (without thin air). The Rockies should absolutely tee off on him today. German Marquez will pitch for the Rockies and he comes in 5-2 on the season. Any of us could pitch for the Rockies today and they would still cover the run line. Book it.

PARLAY:

Dodgers ML / Twins ML / Rockies ML (+200) - JACKHAMMER- That’s not a typo, we are going for it today. I realize that if one of these teams loses, we automatically settle for a push or losing day but I don’t see any of these teams losing today. The Dodgers bats have scored 7+ in 4 of their last 5 games and they are 17-2 against the Pirates since 2017. The Twins are 9-1 in their last 10 and have scored 8+ runs in each of their last four games. Then to close it out, the Rockies will face David Hess at Coors Field and he has allowed 14 runs and 7 homeruns in his last two starts. I don’t see anything in the trends that would even make me hesitate to double down on a parlay of all three at +200. It’s. Time. To. Fucking. Party.
