What a day! Back to back HUGE days going 8-2 overall with 2 JACKHAMMER wins! I know I’m a greedy motherfucker but I was actually upset the Rockies blew their 5-1 lead yesterday because that would have been a clean 4-0 sweep. We will take it though and it’s on to today to close out the long weekend.

Please take a moment of silence in honor of Memorial Day.

Thank you.

Nationals / Red Sox (+106) - JACKHAMMER - Let’s close out the weekend by dropping another hammer! First up we have the Nationals who will have Max Scherzer pitching. Scherzer got hit around pretty good against the Marlins in his only start against them this year when he allowed 6 runs in 5.1 innings. However, he went 5-0 against this Marlins team last year so I’ll ride with the larger sample size. The Nats have outscored the Marlins by 10 runs in the first three games of this series. Then we have the Red Sox taking on the Indians. Rick Porcello will pitch for the Sox and he has 6 quality starts in a row. The Sox bats will be up against Jefry Rodriguez who is just 1-4 on the season. The Indians have lost 4 of their last 5 games. The crowd will be buzzing in Boston today for the first game of tonight’s Boston double header with Game 1 of the Stanley Cup at 8.

White Sox (Nova) (-113) - We are hopping back on that Homer Bailey SUCKS train today. We bet against him his last time out and he couldn’t even get out of the second inning. He has allowed 5 earned runs in 4.1 innings or less in each of his last 2 starts. He’s consistently giving up runs to the opposition and that’s what we are banking on today. Ivan Nova is pitching for the White Sox and I’ll admit he is a wild card, you don’t always know what you’re going to get from him. He has been great in 3 of his last 5 starts pitching 6+ innings and allowing 3 runs in 1 of those starts and 1 run in each of the other 2. I was thinking about the over today but it is the biggest public bet of the day getting 85% of the money. The wind will be blowing in for this one so I’ll take my chances with Nova and the White Sox against Homer Bailey. #HomerBaileySucks

NHL: 8:00 EST Blues / Bruins Over (5) - It’s been 11 days since the Bruins played their last game and I think that’s the worst thing that could have happened for Tuukka Rask. He has been absolutely lights out during the playoffs but I think he will be a little rusty tonight after 11 days off without seeing live game action. The Blues have gone over 5 in 5 of their last 6 games. The Bruins have scored 3 or more goals in 6 of their last 7 games. I love this over set at 5 tonight, it feels like a safe play to me.
