Fuck the Indians. Fuck the Brewers. Fuck this past week. It’s been a bad week and I can own up to that. Due to that, I am extending everyone’s membership a full week at no charge. If you have recurring payments, the free week will be added to the back end of your membership. I don’t do this often but that’s because we typically don’t have losing streaks that require it. Let’s break out of the slump today with a few high percentage plays and no parlays.
Rangers (Lynn) (-160) - What do you know? Homer Bailey has another matchup against a lineup who has absolutely destroyed him in the past. This Rangers lineup comes in with a .319 avg in 72 at bats. Add in the fact that the ball will be flying in Arlington, Texas today and we have a perfect recipe for pound town. Lance Lynn will start for the Rangers and he has had 4 great starts in a row - 7 IP 3 runs, 7 IP 1 run (against this Royals team), 7 IP 2 runs, and 6 IP 3 runs. Another start for him like that and he should have plenty of run support from this Rangers lineup going against Homer Bailey. #HomerBaileySucks
Cardinals (Flaherty) (-135) - The Cardinals beat the Cubs 2-1 last night and the Cubs have now lost 4 of their last 5 games. Jack Flaherty will start for the Cards and he has held this Cubs lineup to a .200 avg in 55 at bats. On the flip side, Cubs starter Jose Quintana has always hated facing this Cardinals lineup and they come in hitting a whopping .354 in 113 career at bats. Quintana actually got the win against them earlier this season but I’ll lean on the larger sample size and this is a great matchup for the Cardinals.
Astros (Verlander) (-155) - First off I can’t believe this line isn’t more like -250. The A’s have lost 3 straight and the matchup isn’t looking good for them tonight. The Astros bats will be up against Brett Anderson who they are hitting .453 in 31 at bats against. Justin Verlander will start for the Astros and 8-2 Verlander is going to Verlander. He has held this A’s lineup to a .234 avg in 77 at bats. Take Astros moneyline to the fucking bank tonight 🏦
Mets / Diamondbacks - No runs in the 1st inning - We hit one of these bets last night and it was easy money. We have deGROM and Greinke going in this one who should get off to good starts. deGROM has held the DBacks who have faced him to a .200 avg in 25 at bats. Greinke has held the Mets lineup to a .163 avg in 86 at bats. NO RUNS IN THE FIRST!
Bruins / Blues Over (5) - We saw 5 and 6 goals in the first two games of this series and I don’t expect any different tonight. The Bruins have gone over or pushed at 5 in 14 of their 19 playoff games which is 74%. The Blues have gone over or pushed in 16 of their 21 playoff games which is 76%. 5 is a safe number because you can’t lose once you get to 2-2 and that seems likely with the trends for both of these teams. Nothing like an over on a Saturday night! LFG!
