6/5 VIP Picks

The dogs were barking last night and we were staring 1-5 down for a while before the Sox and Braves came back for us. We finish 3-3 and although I’m not happy with that, it could have been a lot worse. We were in a bases loaded jam with no outs and we got out of it only allowing 1 run. That’s momentum for us and it’s time for us to swing the sticks today! LETS FUCKING GO! BIG HUMP DAY!

3:40 EST

Dodgers (Maeda) (-165) - The DBacks have surprisingly good numbers against Maeda but he only allowed 3 earned runs over 6.2 innings against them in a 18-5 win for his first start of the season. Maeda has got the win in each of his last 4 starts and he’s allowed 3 runs or less in each of those starts. The Dodgers have won 7 in a row and they have scored 3 runs or more in 6 of those 7 game. Go Dodgers!

7:05 EST

Braves (Gausman) (-125) - a couple of sloppy starting pitchers in this one but I like the Braves chances of staying hot tonight. They will face Joe Musgrove who has allowed 5 or more runs in 4 of his last 6 starts. Coming off of a 12 run night I’ll take our chances with the Braves. Kevin Gausman is coming off of his worst start of the season but he had 5 straight starts allowing 3 runs or less before that. Good value on the Braves here.

7:07 EST

Yankees ML / Red Sox ML (+115) - The Yanks let us down last night but they had their chances. Even with a win last night the Jays have still lost 10 of their last 12. The Yanks will have James Paxton on the mound who looked good in his first start back from the injured list. The Yanks lineup will be up against 1-4 Trent Thornton. It will be their first time facing him but he shouldn’t strike any fear in them. The Sox will have Chris Sale going against the Royals and he has held them to a .217 avg in 129 at bats. The Sox will face Jakob Junis and his 5+ earned run average. This parlay should get it done for us at plus money tonight.

Team Total

Raptors Over (104.5) - A lot of debating went into this pick but this is the move tonight. There are reports that Klay Thompson wants to play but the trainers don’t want him to play. 75% of the time, what the team trainers want is what ultimately happens. I’ll give you another 75% trend and it’s that the Raptors have gone over 104.5 in 75% (3 out of 4) games against the Warriors this season. They finished the one game below 104.5 by half a point. Here are their point totals against Dub Nation this season - 131, 113, 118, & 104. That’s an average of 116.5 points per game against them this season. I’m not saying the Raptors win this game tonight but I am saying that Raptors team total takes the Klay Thompson question out of the picture. That seems to be our best option tonight. Let’s go Raptors!
