Not one but two blown leads in the 8th inning are the difference between a 3-1 night. You guys see the stats, I don’t make them up. Some of the losses and the way they have happened in the last week are unfuckingbelievable. I’ll continue to do the research and put us in the best position to profit but like I always say, anything can happen in these games. If you missed it, the Dodgers and Yankees blowing leads in the 8th last night were a bit suspicious since they were two of the top three most bet teams yesterday at 87% and 80% of the public money. We are due for a BIG DAY today. A couple big moneylines but this is an opportunity to make up some of our losses from this week. Some people shy away after a couple losing days but I honestly believe 100% that we made the right plays even though they didn’t work out. We are down 6 units on the week but we still have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to make it back and turn it around. I’m not backing down today, get the fucking hammers out.

MLB:

1:10 EST

Rays (Stanek) (-190) - JACKHAMMER - The Rays snapped their losing streak last night backed by another great start from Charlie Morton. They will take on Daniel Norris today who they come in hitting .355 against in 31 career at bats. Norris is coming off of his worst start of the season where he allowed 6 runs over 5.1 innings. He’s actually done that twice this season. The Tigers have lost 9 of his 12 starts this season (75% of them). The Rays will go with the opener Ryne Stanek today and I’m fine with that based on the numbers that this Rays offense has against Tigers starter Daniel Norris. Nothing like some day action that we can drop the hammer on.

3:40 EST

Astros (Verlander) (-195) - JACKHAMMER - Big moneyline here but we have to break out of the slump somehow and there is nothing more high percentage than a Verlander moneyline. He comes in 9-2 on the season with a 2.27 earned run average. He has been good against this Mariners lineup in the past and he has held them to a .215 avg in 107 at bats. He allowed 2 hits over 6 innings against the Mariners earlier this season. Tommy Milone will start for the Mariners and this will be just his fourth start of the season. The Astros come in hitting .286 in a small sample size of 28 at bats against him. C’mon Astros...NEED ONE!

7:00 EST

Yankees (Happ) (-195) - JACKHAMMER - The Yankees can’t lose three in a row to the Blue Jays right? DEFINITELY not with Edwin Jackson pitching for the Jays. Jackson is coming off of a start where he allowed 10 earned runs in 2.1 innings. He is 0-3 with a 13.22 earned run average. Jenna Jameson, Bibi Jones, Mia Khalifa, Edwin Jackson - #POUNDTOWN. The Yankees lineup has a .311 avg in 45 at bats against Jackson. J.A. Happ will pitch against his former team tonight and the Yanks have won 8 of his last 9 starts. Happ has held this Jays lineup to a .250 avg in a small sample size of 28 at bats. I really can’t see the Yanks losing a third straight game to this Blue Jays team.

I am personally betting to win 2 units on each of the MLB plays today and when they all win, that will bring us back to even on the week with the weekend to go andddddddddd we always crush the weekends.

NHL:

Bruins (-160) - JACKHAMMER - The Bruins were outplayed and dominated in Game 4, they also lost Chara to injury but he had been cleared to play tonight. It’s crazy how bad the Bruins were outplayed in Game 4 yet they still were in position to steal a win late in the third. The script flips and this series shifts back to Boston for Game 5. This series has been trending back and forth each game and tonight is the Bruins turn to dominate again. They will be backed by a raucous crowd tonight and that should give them the energy boost to take control of this game right out of the gate. The Bruins were 0 for 2 on the power play in Game 4. The Blues gave the Bruins 5 power play opportunities in both Games 1 & 2. This Bruins team is on the verge of having the best power play success rate in NHL Playoff history. I think the Blues will play sloppy on the road and give the B’s those power play opportunities that they will capitalize on and that will be the difference tonight. I have the Bruins taking the 3-2 in this one but I won’t be surprised when this one comes back to Boston for Game 7.
