☃️ = the last two nights. Couple bad beats last night - Celts turn it over 8 times in the 1st half and it still came down to a 3 pointer with 24 seconds left to crush our first half -4. Toledo teased us by coming all the way back just to get called for pass interference on 3rd and long on a ball thrown 15 yards over the receivers head, give up the go ahead field goal, get themselves in field goal range, and get a false start with 1 second left to end the game and not even get a chance to kick the field goal. What a fucking roller coaster of emotions that was. 0-5 is a rough two day stretch but I’ll never let a short cold streak define us, we have been winning consistently since 2015. Thirsty Thursday you say.....NEED ONE!
Steelers (+3) - The Steelers are now 5-4 after an 0-3 start and they have looked good. The defense has been really good during that comeback holding the Bengals to 3, Chargers to 17 after being up 24-0, Dolphins to 14, and Rams to 12. The Browns offense has struggled against good defenses this season even last week against the Bills they only scored 12 points until the final 2 minutes of the game. The Steelers rank #2 in takeaways with 26 this season with 14 of those being interceptions. Guess who is #2 in interceptions thrown this year? Yup, Baker Mayfield. I expect that to be the difference in this game tonight. The Browns defense hasn’t been very good against the run allowing 134.9 rushing yards per game. Look for James Conner to get going in his return to action tonight on a cold clear night in Cleveland. The Steelers are 6-3 against the spread and the Browns are 2-6-1 against the spread. Let’s roll with the Steelers in this one.
Update 3:11 EST
🚨KAWHI LEONARD IS NOW OUT.🚨
Make sure Paul George is playing before you lock it in.
Heat ML / Clippers ML (+147) - The Heat are off to their best start at 7-3 since LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh were in town back in 2013. They have won 3 of their last 5 and 1 of those losses came on a back to back. The Cavs have struggled against good teams this season and they have gone 0-5 in their last 5 games against teams with winning records. Then the Clippers will take on the 2-8 Pelicans. The Clips lost to the Rockets last night but it sounds like Paul George will be making his season debut tonight which should give them a boost of energy. I’ve seen the line between 4 and 6 but parlaying the moneyline with the Heat gives us plus money odds. Hard to pass up on this parlay! LFG!!
Nets Over (107) - The Nets are averaging 119.2 points per game and they have gone over 107 in all 10 of their games this season. They even went off for 114 in their last game against the best defense in the league. Speaking of defense, the Nets don’t know what that is and they have allowed opponents to score 121.4 points per game. The combination of great offense and the lack of defense has created fast pace high scoring games and that’s what I’m expecting tonight. The Nuggets are coming off of a game where they let the Hawks score 125. I’m loving this team total 100% trend tonight. This games the late game on TNT as well so that’s a bonus.
