11/20 VIP Picks

2-1 last night for another profitable day this week. Always good to hit the Monday/Tuesday punch since those days can be the toughest days of the week to bet. Let’s get right into the picks for HUMP day to keep the streak going!

NHL:

8:00 EST

Capitals (-160) - The only reason this one isn’t a jackhammer is because there’s a ton of public money on it. 77% earlier today but it’s down to 72% as of noon est. The Capitals already beat the Rangers 5-2 this season against Henrik Lundqvist who is confirmed to be in net for tonight’s rematch. That win and the fact that the Caps have double the amount of wins as the Rangers proves they are the better team in this matchup. The Rangers have been giving up a lot of goals this season including getting torched for 9 by the Lightning less than a week ago. GIVE ME THE CAPS TONIGHT and if you’re feeling frisky, hit this one for 2 units.

NBA:

7:30 EST

Raptors (-145) - Going with the moneyline instead of spread in this one since 79% of the public are on -3. The Raptors recently went 3-2 on a West coast road trip which is always a challenge. They returned home in their last game and they were enjoying the home cooking when they beat the Hornets 132-96. The Magic come in on a 3 game winning streak but those games were at home for them. They will be on the road in Toronto tonight and they are 0-4 on the road this season losing by an average of 5.5 points per game. That also includes their first trip to Toronto back on 10/28 when they lost 104-95. To strengthen the case for the Raptors tonight, they are 5-0 at home this season winning those games by an average of 13.8 points per game. The Raptors set a franchise record with 40 assists and their last game and that’s good to see when a team is getting everyone involved. GO RAPTORS!!

9:00 EST

Rockets (+115) - I mean anytime we can get the Rockets at plus money this season we are going to take it 9 times out of 10. They are right at the top of the Western Conference and have won 8 in a row and have been rolling. The Nuggets are right behind them in the West but these teams play a different tempo and I think that favors the high pace high scoring Rockets in this matchup tonight. James Harden has scored 30+ in each of the last 8 games and I don’t think there’s a better player to watch who you have money on. I mean...look at this....:

Let’s go with the Rockets tonight!
